Customers love the performance and powerful GPU of this gaming desktop, frequently citing its ability to handle high-end games at maximum settings and its excellent value for the price. Many appreciate the build quality and case aesthetics, although some users suggest improvements to the cooling system. A recurring concern involves issues with the sleep mode functionality, impacting the overall user experience for some.

Buying a pre-built PC is pretty much to the only way to get your hands on a graphics card for a somewhat reasonable price these days. This model is a great value in that regard. It comes with great specs for a good price and has some decent room for expansion (1x M.2 NVMe, a x4 PCIe slot, and 2x 3.5" HDD bays are available). My only complaints so far are that it comes with plenty of bloatware that can be easily uninstalled (which should be expected from HP) and the options arent great for controlling the fans and lighting due to proprietary hardware.

i am loving it so far! runs even high end games at the perfect speed. my previous desktop was starting to die, only lasting about 45 minutes before a thermal shutdown, this Omen allows me to monitor the system's temperature directly, so I know this one hasn't even come close. And the system has not compromised speed either, it's the fastest computer I've had yet.

Much faster than my ten year old machine and it runs the new AI software. It has spaces for two HDDs, but not for an SSD. Had to find a make do spot for it and wire it in place. Much cheaper than a similar Puget Systems DT, but have since found even better prices for other makes. Even so, I will keep this one. Too much effort to switch at this point.

the #1 out of 5 rating is just a flag for HP to fix ongoing issues. this PC wont wake up sometimes, its rare, but be sure you will need access to the power cord if you purchase it. pressing in power for 30s does nothing...
the fans gets loud on sleep too.. why???
HP not supporting their current product is something to consider.
the good: if this pc didn't have the above issues, it would be a 5/5, great bang for buck. its fast/powerful, plays latest and greatest graphic intensive games on highest settings without flinching...

Good components, nice setup.. BUT this thing has issues. I hate to say it because I wanted so much for it to be great.. This issue you will read about in the other reviews and the computer not coming out of sleep is very real. Before when I read I thought... "has to be a setting" or "must need an update" but so far no luck. The computer will go to sleep and sit there with the diamond light, RGB memory and fans running but will not wake up. Cant believe HP knows about this issue and hasn't done anything to fix it. There are tons of post on google and hp support about this issue and they still take your money and say here's your junk. Who wants to dish out $1500-$1900 dollars just to receive a problem. Shame on you HP. I'm trying one last thing and if nothing I'm returning, very disappointed.. I'm sure ill get a generic reply about contacting support, which I must believe the other reviews about HP getting someone to remote into my pc and turn off sleep mode.. NOT a FIX.. either way it tarnishes my once excitement and joy when I purchased.

This is a great pc but I’m really disappointed that there’s nothing I can do to turn it on from sleep mode. I did all the settings and updated everything but nothing works. How has HP done nothing to fix this, Can never put my pc to sleep because then I would have to unplug it and replug it to turn it back on.

Great gaming rig. Liquid cooled.
Has a 3070Ti instead of the 3070.
Only issue after a month of using it - waking up from sleep mode doesn’t always work. Actually requires you to turn off the power source as it will not wake up. Occurs if it’s been in sleep mode for several hours or overnight. Definitely not ideal.

goes well with my favorite game fortnite. so noisy as every desktop, pretty fast, though. Matt black color, pretty cool design. Now I am considering buying a monitor from HP which has 240 HZ refresh rate and VA panel and ultrawide if there is one at all.

This is a pairing with a different Pc review i just did. I upgraded to this unit from a Cyber Power Pc that didnt work for me. I hooked this up to an 85inch sony 900h tv with an Hdmi 2.1 cable to the 2.1 input and have been playing wow all day with no issues. It might be over kill, it might be just good enough i dont know, but after having nothing but problems with a different PC it makes me love how this just works. The view of the internals through the glass is very cool looking, and changing the adjustable colors to look very sci fi was a nice touch. I dont know about Gpu's but this did come with a 3070 ti and my other one had a 3060 ti.

3070 Ti is a serious letdown

I'll start by saying that everything this computer comes with is fantastic except the GPU. The CPU destroys everything I throw at it. When benchmarked it consistently gets great scores. No problems with RAM. Adding more of the same RAM is difficult as the stock Fury HyperX ram is not made anymore but its not a problem yet as 16GB is enough for almost all games. The M.2 is fantastic. Everything loads fast and boot times are stunning. Reviews on the internet say the case is cluttered and disorganized but I think it looks fine. The lighting on the front and inside of the case is great. It looks professional and doesn't scream "gaming computer".
Now to the GPU. This 3070 Ti underperforms at every single task. All of my drivers are up to date. I've reinstalled Windows. I've searched all over and tried everything to breathe life into this thing and it doesn't help. I average 35 FPS on Warzone at the lowest settings. That's if the game works at all. Half the time I boot the game I will be able to play for 2 minutes before it crashes. This occurs on literally every single game I play. There are times where it will work for 30 minutes without an issue but then it crashes again. I've even tried playing some older games like Civ 4 to see if it's just new titles overworking the card and even that crashed. There is no pattern to it at all and all possible fixes I've gotten from Nvidia were to uninstall and reinstall the drivers which I've done probably 20 times.
I had originally planned to build my computer but this had everything I wanted for less money so I went with it. I would not recommend this computer to anyone. At this point I have no clue what to do with it as I have tried to fix it for over a month and now I can't even return it.

This Omen 30L is pretty competitive with good price and build quality regarding the specs it has in the market. There are barely 3070ti with 5800x pc in the market with this price. Though the AIO fan is quite noisy and the case design was not so great when encountering 5800x that cause idle temp around 60c, which require undervolt or better cooling.
But overall is definitely worth purchasing considering current market pricing on GPU.

Overall a decent set up. MB is lacking in my opinion. Cooling is not amazing. Worth it for the CPU and GPU!
