It's a good priced desktop. Can run Steam VR just (which is to be expected with the specs) and I haven't hit thermal throttle yet. It comes with two open HDD slots and no HDD. Just the 1 TB SSD so you will want to pick up a HDD for more storage. I ended up buying it because it gave me a 21% single core increase and about the easiest way to get a RTX 3070 without paying an arm and a leg. My only complaint is bloatware but it is easy enough to take off McAfee and anything else you do not want.

This is day 3 of owning my HP Omen 30L. Finally totally set up, and I have to write this review. SPECTACULAR SUPERB STUPENDOUS. S-class gaming computer for the price. 1440p on ultra with a second 1080p monitor running, still have 6 GB of RAM left to spare. Processor is walking through 1440p ultra, but it's average FPS is about 100 with GPU maxed. It handles no problem. Some bloat-ware, easily removed and unavoidable. This is the pinnacle of plug and play, and I am beyond happy. Thank you HP and thank you Best Buy. 6 USB-A(2 in front, 4 in back), 2 USB-C, 3 display port 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0, headphone and mic jack in the front, mic in the back, detailed light control. I have mine set so the top diamond light represents CPU usage and the bottom fan circle represents GPU usage. Green:0%, Yellow:1-40%, Orange:40-70%,Red:71-100%. That is how customizable the lights are, there is also one on the interior. No cooling problems so far and GPU smiles at 100%. I love this thing.

So I want to start off this review by saying I was in your shoes at one point. Who? YOU. I was reading these reviews and always looking at the negatives thinking to myself, “is this thing going to overheat on me?” “Will I have black screens?” “Are my temps gonna be a lil high?” Well I’m here to tell you I’m thinking that thing is sort of related to what you do for work or maybe just a needle in a hay stack type of thing. THIS PC IS AMAZING!!!! I have nothing but good things to say about it. The boot up speeds and loading into games has been nothing but perfection. My temps??? Ice cold baby. I’m talking colder than the Frio River. I’ve had this thing on for 2 days straight at one point and I didn’t see a temp go over 64 degrees. I almost feel a little bad for some of the people that have been having trouble because I really don’t see how it’s possible if we in fact have the same rig. Maybe it’s the work you do on it? Mining? I don’t know. But for me this PC has been nothing but a fresh breath of air. I use it for gaming and boy does it play everything I’ve downloaded so far flawlessly. COD Warzone. Apex. Dead by Daylight. Assetto Corsa. Forza Horizon 5. PubG. And maybe like 4-5 other games I can’t remember right now lol. I get 170 frames on pretty much every game I play (my monitor is 170hz) on Ultra settings!! I’ve yet to see any 80 degree temps and I mean I’ve read even if you do see that it’s not completely out of the normal. You should be fine. All I know is that I’ve been loving this thing for the price and what you get with the specs pre built is soooo worth it guys. Trust me. Look around. (Prices for pc parts are actually coming to a lower standard.. finally but still!!!) I guess if there’s one thing I could say is don’t look at the negative reviews like me and let that steer you away. I took a lil chance and I’m so glad I did. The case is too small and not enough fans for cooling? Hmm yeah okay maybe? But the case is actually pretty awesome looking tbh and I’m already finding substitute cases you can just swap to very easily for like $90 lol. But dang I don’t really see any high temps in the games I’ve been running. ALSO I swapped out my RAM with some really sweet G.Skill Trident Z 3200. (2 sticks) I maybe put in 5-7 hours of gaming too each session. Anyways I’m gonna end this review here and just say wow. This thing is a beast for beginners and new PC guys that just wanna game on some higher frames. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed if you’re just in it for that.

With the prices of GPUs i was torn between having a computer built and shipped and buying a prebuilt. I have an HP Omen laptop that faired well, so I went and took the risk buying this desktop. Setting up the computer was very easy and it booted up in less than 5 seconds. This desktop is lightening fast, and the GPU will handle any game you throw at it. I have a 1440p monitor that runs flawlessly at 165hz. The aesthetic is sleek and the RGB adjustable lighting is absolutely beautiful. The CON that I actually found a fix for and I hope it helps anyone with thermal issues: Out of the box I noticed my thermals on idle seemed a little on the higher side(50-63C) and when I started a few downloads it ran it right up it 81C. After some research I simply went into my Power Battery Settings》Advanced Settings》Maximum and Minimum Processor State: My CPU was both 100%. I changed my Minimum to 5% and my Maximum to 99% and it immediately dropped my thermals to 30C's in idle and when long gaming sessions 50-65C. I also had an issue with my fans booting up extremely loud randomly while gaming. That also fixed that problem for me. I am so happy with this purchase and would definitely reccomend to anyone wanting an all around great desktop.

The best gaming pc ever. It also has a liquid cooling system which can run most of the big games very easily. Im all satisfied with this pc but reason why i gave four stars is it doesn't have hard drive it only has 1000gb ssd.so i have to use an external hard drive for it.and the price should be abit reasonable. But performance is 100% great.

Absolutely a great prebuilt computer right out of the box. Had no issues at all setting up and this is my first computer I’ve ever had so I was hesitant. But after plenty of reading on it, I had to buy it. Plays every game I have for it on ultra without breaking a sweat. Plus I don’t even have it wired into a connection I use wifi on it and the box is in another room. No issues with downloading or uploading speed. Lots of goodies on it for a great price. Just make sure you don’t skimp on the accessories to make it preform the best.

I bought this computer to replace my aging gtx 980 powered tower (which still performs surprisingly well), and I am very happy with the purchase. I wanted to build my own desktop again, but with the graphics card market being what it is I decided to go pre-built. I was a little concerned about bloatware and temperatures, but the programs you don't want can be removed easily enough and the 3070 stays nice and cool. The cpu runs a little hotter, but well within an acceptable range; highest I've seen so far was 66 C. I like the look of the tower and the minimalistic led lighting, the case is also smaller than I was expecting. The side glass panel can be removed with the push of a button on the back of the tower which I thought was neat. The HP omen app that's preinstalled lets you monitor performance and temperatures as well as controlling fan speeds and the leds. It also allows you to over clock the system through the app though I haven't seen a need to do that yet. The specs are exactly as listed and is the first thing I checked on startup as I have heard of people getting lower specced components than what was listed. Performance wise this thing is a beast. I got a 27in, 165hz, 1440p monitor to pair with this and have been playing everything on the highest settings with ease so far. I've also played a few VR games and I had no issues with half-life alyx on ultra settings using a quest 2 over wifi. Everything loads insanely fast thanks in part to the NVME ssd. My only complaints after almost a month with it, is that the fans can get a little loud during gameplay, and a weird issue with the computer sleeping. During normal activities like browsing the internet or watching shows, the fans are dead silent but can get quite noisy while gaming. I have the computer on the top of my desk, so you might not notice the noise as much if you have a good place under your desk. I also had one random issue where the computer went to sleep and I could not wake it up without rebooting it, but everything was fine and it only happened once; likely a random software issue. Other than those minor things, this is an amazing PC!

New models seem to be slightly undervolted to keep thermals in check power is still fantastic Warzone/Halo Infinite/ Apex all running above 144fps high settings 1080P. Haven't had any thermal issues so far when stress testing. fans are above average noise when starting games but quiets down . Windows 11 is also quite buggy still but with some troubleshooting this is one of the best plug in and game PCs for the money . Be aware of the windows 11 sleep mode bug sometimes the pc struggles coming out of sleep mode on default settings and requires tweaking to account and display settings . Overall very happy considering the price and performance .

Found this in stock and on the site. It uses almost all off the shelf parts rather than proprietary ones often used by the big guys. Given that, I liked the idea of big company support and went with this. So far it has been great. One of the fans on the video card was rubbing a bit on the housing when I first got it. (Not a great first impression.) But I was able to flex the plastic housing a bit and that took care of it. Perhaps a shipping issue. Anyway, it performs well, looks good, and the price was right. Found a 10% off coupon using one of those shopping plug ins which was a nice bonus. I don't care to do much overclocking or toying with settings, so not having complete access to the bios is not a big deal. Probably all I will do is add memory and ssd drives which looks easy to do. There was some bloatwear, but it was all easily removed within a few minutes. If you just want a gaming rig that works as is, this seems like a good one.

Got my Omen about a week ago. 5800x 3070 1tb. And the temp talk had me nervous but mine hasnt been all that bad. Idle temp not playing games is 29c GPU and 54c CPU While playing Warzone on a 1440p monitor with quality at Normal, still looks better than my PS5 my GPU is between 74c-76c. Really not that bad. Playing MW2 beta so far theyve been high 68c-71c. Pretty quiet overall and thats all with fans on normal settings. Got mine brand new for $1168. So cant be mad at all at the performance and cost.

I bought this pc impulsively and I was only mildly disappointed once when I ran into a couple of hardware issues. Ever since those have been resolved I haven't has any issues in several months of using this machine. I can give it a solid 8/10 and say it's worth buying.

Seems like its a great buy for the price. Pros- Great CPU Great GPU 1 TB solid states better then many others in the price point. Played pretty much right out of the box and dose not struggle at all with anything(barring lack of memory) Omen gaming hub actually useful Warranty through shop nearby. literally free 2 day shipping(awesome) Cons- Motherboard seems like a guessing game, i have 2 slots for memory when one of the questions answered on the forms said it would have 4. 1Tb with no other drives feels light for this level of gaming PC Board might not have the slots it claims, haven't really had time to lock, but there's not much room in the case for lots of expansion. HP bloatware a bit, and had internet isues when i tried to get rid of it.

Solid Rig and Good Value Considering....

So the biggest complaint you've probably heard is the temps on this thing on scorching and I'm here to tell you it's overblown...mostly. The temps are good in terms of the gpu, idle around 25-35°C, and while heavy gaming, RE8 4k rtx on, it goes up to 60-70°C so pretty solid. The cpu however, is a little worse cooling wise so I would categorize it as average, idling at 35-45°C, and going up as high as 75-80°C on high usage(rpsc3 gow 3 and other stuff in the background). It does get VERY loud though so if that's an issue for you I would steer clear of this prebuilt unless you plan on putting some better fans in there and making other mods to the build. So all in all, a pretty solid rig with near-enthusiast level components, in a surprisingly nice looking case, for a modest price, especially in these troubling times for gamers. One quick note, I would highly advised against going a spec higher than this, at least in this case, as you will more than likely experience thermal throttling issues, so for 3080 and above look in their 45L cases, and avoid the 25L rigs entirely.
