SSD Not as Advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this product today only to discover that it does not have a Western Digital Black NVMe SSD included. The SSD is a lower tier Western Digital, at about 1,000 MB/s slower. I returned it and am awaiting a replacement, but I'm not hopeful it will be better considering I'm seeing an identical lower tier SSD in the exact same HP OMENs of YouTube reviewers. Best Buy shouldn't advertise that this computer is equipped with a faster SSD than what it actually comes with.

Blue screen of death, 2 minutes into gaming
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to have quality and fast desktop PC to replace my Gateway PC. I was exited about the specs. Pricing is fair and I wanted to believe that HP brand means quality. I have always been hesitant about AMD processors as I had hardware issues in the past with new AMD laptop and desktops with overheating and failure in new devices that I returned. I so far never had problems with with Intel based devices. I checked the specs and decided to dive into buying this AMD based device hoping that with time they have improved. When I ran 3D Mark test in on of them system gave me the blue screen of death and shutdown. I did not take it seriously. Also randomly while watching videos, a few times I ran into same error. This is a back up PC for me so I rarely used it for total of maybe 7-10 days. I wish I would have paid attention to this warning signs. I updated all the drives and the firmware. Just recently I bought Red Dead Redemption just to test the system. If fails every time 3 minutes into gaming. I called HP and they stated that they won't swap it for a new PC as I bought it from them and it has been more than 1 month since the purchase. They did provided immediate support and troubleshooting. Ultimately nothing worked and I had to ship it to them and hope that they will fix it. I am very disappointed to pay so much money for a new computer that is defective. Probably that has to do with poor quality control in HP. I hope they can fix it but I am very disappointed.

Excessive bluescreens
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within the first hour i stafted to receieve blue screens. Did my best to troubleshoot but the error code pointed in the direction of a hardware error. Couldnt use the pc for anymore than 5 minutes of CS:GO between crashes. Such a shame since this build is capable of much more, if you see the WHEA Uncorrectable Error just return it. HP locks the UEFI and BIOS screens limiting your ability to troubleshoot.

BSOD, returned but hopeful
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I will say that the computer looks awesome. The unboxing experience was very nice and there is almost no bloatware whatsoever on it. Just some solicitations for antivirus, Dropbox things like that. The computer updated Windows and the BIOS has a general function of getting things going. The computer started right up and immediately my son start playing games. Unfortunately while playing Roblox the computer crashed. And then it happened again later in the day and then again. Then world of warships.. This this was stock no overclocking was done or anything like that So I updated to the latest Nvidia software drivers but still the problem remained. Eventually it wouldn't boot at all and just stayed in a loop. Looking online it seems that many people have had this problem. It is unclear to me if it is the Windows update, processor problem , MB or graphics I don't know. Quite a bit of speculation but most seem to coincide with the latest Windows update. I contacted HP support and gave them debug logs where they seem to think it is motherboard related. I did waste several hours of my time with them wanting to run tests and all that which I didn't appreciate having to do on a brand new expensive computer. That being said, I was in my 15-day window I returned the computer. Otherwise HP would have picked it up and replaced under warranty. The fact that I had to go through all of this is why I've rated this poor. I am hopeful though and repurchased it again hoping for better quality this time.

Excellent processor and graphics card, bad compone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to keep this pc :( It would go in sleep mode and it wouldn’t wake up when I would move my mouse and click my keyboard. I tried trouble shooting and flashing the bios. Still didn’t work. I might of just got a bad board.
