It came as advertised brother uses the computer to play valorant

The temperatures run hot until you spend 6 hours tweaking voltages, limiting speeds, etc. There are two free ram slots, but if you buy any type of ram that doesnt come direct from the HP store, the motherboard is coded to default the speed to 2400. You need 3rd party software to overclock 3200RAM to reach 3200. There is no control over the RAM rgb. It has been a known issue for a year and customer support keeps saying "it will be fixed with the bios"

PC is alright, but it keeps crashing when running more intensive programs. Bestbuy wants to help by upselling their "Geek Squad" service for $199/year...so faulty product paired with bad customer service. Anyways, the error I get is "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" on a blue screen. I have tried fixing it myself to no avail. Returning is of course an option, but I purchased this because it was the best deal at the time and now it cannot be replaced, which is even worse.

The graphics are beautiful. Although, the PC crashes every 15 minutes.

Bought for grandson. He loves it! He plays on it daily.

Literally ran well during games no performance issues at all. But every time I shut down or rebooted the computer the taskbar will load for a long time. I had to reset the computer more that 5 times. I did a cloud reset and local. I even bought a usb to do a windows usb drive install. I even purchased a M.2 Samsung Evo 970 Plus but the issue still persisted. So this will be my second computer returned to best buy after returning the R12 arora i7 3070. At this point I'm done with pre-built computers. I read every comment of this product and overall they were good. But evidently I must have ran out of luck.

Very poor service overall and poor quality product. This computer started throwing processor core errors in the Event Viewer in windows. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer support who helped me get an appointment scheduled with GS to diagnose and repair the problem since it was under warranty. When I went to GS they said "oh if it's throwing processor core errors then you should just return and exchange it"...well fair enough but there was no other computer to replace with that were of the same quality/price/components and no timeframe on when I would get it. So he said sorry but we can't help really. I went home with my computer and called customer service about the poor service and inability of GS to find/replace/repair the issue, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up on me. I called again requesting the general manager for the region and was again out on hold and then hung up on after another 30 minutes. I straight up went to the store and returned the thing and bought a better computer for the same price from another retailer.

Great machine. Can run anything you throw at it. However, this version of HP Omen doesn't allow you to install non-HP RAM, even after updating to the latest BIOS. My recommendation is before you buy an Omen, 1) make sure you don't need to upgrade your RAM or 2) make sure the machine will have a BIOS update that will allow non-HP RAM.

The fan at the back sometimes stop and cause the error that must be config in safemode.

Product was open box and didnt include a power cord but thankfully I had an extra.

Aweful experience. I always look for open box deals but this has been the only bad experience ive had. I literally took the computer back to best buy one hour after receiving it. Whoever had it before me took the whole computer apart and didnt bother to connect it. And best buy didnt bother to check. The graphics card wasnt even connected!!! It was just rolling around inside the case. Who knows what damage was done. Anyways, i returned it and bought a different prebuild. Im sure this is a isolated event.

Great pc but does not wake uo from sleep mode, ive done everything i can to fix this issue nothing seems to work. Hopefully windows makes an update for this otherwise ill have to return it

It took 7 days for it to get delivered to a Best Buy store near me. After waiting, I finally got it! Got home and opened to find the cpu cooler had no screws holding the top fan/radiator (no screws in box/floating around). It fell onto motherboard and broke a heat sink. Was a lack of QC. As soon as I opened the box I could tell something was very wrong. The fan had nothing holding it in place besides the heat sink it broke and was resting on. Obviously dangling and swinging around. Will avoid HP pre-builts from now on. Best Buy offered me a refund, obviously in today’s market that was the only thing they could do.

Good pc, but not $1700 good. When i put it to sleep, the computer doesnt respond to any of my commands. I updated what the website said to update, and it still does it constantly. Wouldnt recommend.

Faulty GPU the first time, sent it to HP took 3+ weeks to repair. When i got it back psu fan made a horrible rattling noise. I fixed it by removing a couple screws. A month or so later and it's broken a again. I was offered a buyback the first time, but they will not offer a buyback this time since repairs are going according to plan. Yeah right. Selling this this thing the first chance I get and buying something a bit more customizable. HP = Bad customer service. Check their BBB complaints.

Really not that great. Already have a bottleneck with some games.

crashes very often DO NOT BUY. pc overheats then crashes when playing demanding games.

Worts computer i bought so far my son only had it for one month and it stop working. Will not recommend . This was my sons birthday gift it took a long time to arrive and when it did it only work for a month
