Games ran good with frame gen but would crash after 30 min or so I didn’t bother timing. Omen software is buggy. Drivers are buggy had black screen a few time’s luckily I connected my desktop monitor and was able to reinstall nvidia and arc drivers. Good hardware but bad software. I bought it to replace my 4080 strix 18 I use when I travel for work. I ended up spending more time fixing it than playing cyberpunk so I returned it. Performance didn’t seem any better than my 4080 laptop unless I used framegen so maybe hold off untill 6xxx graphics cards

The laptop is great, but the battery on it is absolutely terrible and shot. I think HP has great plans for future models to come. But this one was poorly executed. For the price of this laptop you expect top of the line quality but it’s sadly not. I wouldn’t recommend getting this laptop unless you prefer to have it plugged into the charger everytime you use it.

Best gaming laptop I ever had, OLED display is THE BEST. Even under heavy load cooling works perfect! Definitely recommended.

I think this computer was pretty good except for the face match not so good

It was a beautiful laptop, gorgeous RGB keyboard, and a great gaming hub to maximize performance... BUT it died in less than 2 weeks. One morning I tried to turn it on and NOTHING. Tried everything, and then I saw the horror stories online - this model has a ton of issues, and I'm not the only one who's laptop just died suddenly

i was never a laptop guy but the tech is final here. gaming is amazing, and the power this computer has is what i need for my drafting, and rendering, and day to day computing

A Premium machine that was poorly designed. Gradually worse and worse heating issues within the first 6 months. Sent it in for repair where the Motherboard/CPU was replaced. Machine was DOA(Dead on Arrival) and needed to be sent in again. HP attempted to make me feel better with a 6 month warranty extension. What a joke. I buy premium devices for reliability in all things I do. Work Hard Play Hard, Get Screwed by the big companies.

Nice system… debating on a few others but just about everything I was looking for.

Thermals are few degrees lower than other laptops.

Its a computer and does computer things. Has pretty lights and RGB. As far as hardware goes, it leaves a lot to be desired for a $2000+ computer.

i have had nothing but issues with this machine, i am not sure if it's hp issue or Microsoft every other day i would get profile can't load. user services not responding. had to reformat the drive and so far everything is working

I was incredibly disappointed. Yes, gaming on this thing was really good for a laptop, but it was CPU bound performance that this struggled in. I tried editing photos which even a macbook air with no internal cooling can do without too much effort, and this thing ramped up the fans and crashed multiple times because the CPU couldn't handle the stress. Not sure if mine was defective, but I returned it instantly after that. Very disappointed.

Fan broke literally the day after returns were allowed. HP costumer service was a joke. I wouldn't accept water in a desert from either company. Now its being sent who knows where for repair.

Purchased this cause it was a great deal. Said excellent condition. The box it came in was damaged. The laptop wasn't in omen box it fell out during shipping. The laptop wouldn't sit flat on table. The front right and back left was lifted so the laptop would rock. Bestbuy definitely failed on shipping. Definitely not excellent condition. I returned it

Overall, a decent machine. CPU gets to hot but cools quickly. This will be a issue long-term. Way too much keyboard flex for the cost.
