Not a gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its absurd to call this a ganing laptop. It cant even run air link or cable connection with Occulus 2 or 3 (I tested both) without jerky video performance. Its also extremely slow to start up and there us also noticeable lag in opening simple applications like Chrome. Even worse, it becomes uncomfortably hot within just a few minutes. Returning this junk.

Performance vs Quality - Not Worth the Price
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a powerful little machine; however, I have faced some significant issues with it. When I initially bought it, I really enjoyed it, but then issues started to surface. After having the laptop for about 6 months, the screen started to glitch and flicker. The solution was to send it back to HP, where they replaced the screen, a process that took about 2 months. Additionally, while gaming with it flat on a table, it overheated and shut off without warning multiple times. From then on, I had to prop it up if I wanted to use it for gaming. The screen, keyboard, and performance are impressive, but I am switching to a MacBook Air for reliability.

Solid setup with a few pitfalls
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.worked pretty well, still dropped frames with some games which was a letdown with the 4060. Got extremely hot while playing games as well. Seemed like a great piece but would need a fan stand, external keyboard, and a solid amount of desk space to have this as a good setup on the road - which is what I originally bought this for. I wanted to love this laptop but with those issues it wasn't for me, if you can handle / mitigate those issues - then it's a great laptop and I didn't have any issues. Just had too many problems for me personally.

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glitchy. The keyboard didn’t stay in the rainbow effect and it took forever to figure out how to change it. I didn’t think the graphics were any better than any other laptop I have used recently. I prefer my MacBook.

Limited gaming performance, 65 watt max TGP
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good laptop. The screen is fantastic, keyboard and trackpad are good, audio is ok. The only drawback to this otherwise great portable gaming laptop is the limitation on the actual GPU. HP in their infinite wisdom have decided to cap the 115 watt RTX 4060 to 50 watts with a 15 watt boost that it never achieves. Unfortunately, i didn't know that until after I bought it. I have since sold this one and purchased a Legion that will actually use the full power the GPU.
