With the relative selection of monitors out there, picking this up for $900 feels like a steal, although that's still bookoo bucks as I still have a perfectly fine IPS monitor that's 5 years old that doesn't burn-in. I digress.
----- AUDIO -----
I don't know why $900 monitors come with speakers, but some do - for the sake of the review, I enabled the monitor's audio and it sounds...okay. Much prefer my bookshelf speakers however. If you're looking for a simplified setup for work, they would sound clear enough and are much louder than laptop speakers.
----- OSD -----
The OSD is pretty easy to navigate, but changing the colors is rather difficult as they're in scales of 1000 as opposed to 100. There's preset OSDs under "Professional" and "Gaming" categories. The professional presets lean blue and the gaming presets lean red, in color. Professional has Display P3, sRGB, Adobe RGB, and BT.709. Gaming has FPS, RGB, RTS, GRM (Game Remaster Mode), Native (OLED panel default settings), HP Enhance+ (?), Cinema (movies). Each category has an Eco mode.
HP Enhance+ features a Low, Medium and High mode, which adjust its enhance algorithm.
The Professional presets have a "Color Information" tab that shows info about the colors, like the gamma, white point, and rgb values, but they aren't adjustable.
The Gaming presets has a gaming tab that lets you turn on AdaptiveSync (DP) or FreeSync Premium (HDMI), a crosshair, edge sharpening, an on-screen timer, and your refresh rate display.
The other menus include Lighting, Audio, System (incl. oled care options), Input (KVM, current input, picture-in-picture), and Power.
The OSD is both intuitive and lacking features as well as information.
----- KVM -----
The KVM is fine and mostly works as intended. I have a laptop and desktop that share a keyboard and a mouse. My main gripe is that the KVM button will not switch to the other system if they have fallen asleep; with the laptop I touch the touchpad to wake and desktop the power button wakes it. KVM switches fine then.
----- COLORS -----
This is my first OLED, and when the colors hit, they _hit_. Nearly everything looks washed out on my IPS now. Silent Hill 2 in HDR was fantastic. League, CS2, Valheim...everything looks really, really good. I usually just use the FPS preset for all games.
----- MISC -----
Firmware update was a problem with my desktop, but my laptop ran it no problem.
Software in the monitor sometimes seems buggy - when I enabled the audio earlier, the OSD kinda stopped working and I had to turn the monitor on and off a couple times for it to work again.
The joystick for the OSD feels cheaply made, but the power button + KVM button are both fine.
I mount my monitor so I have extra desk space, and at 15lbs, it fits fine on my dual-monitor arm that supports ~25lbs per arm.
I didn't feel like I noticed a huge difference going from 1080p to 1440p for games - but 4k (...and the OLED probably...) looks really, really nice. Things are visibly way sharper at 32" 4k than my 27" 1440p. I finally understand why some people are like "imagine 5k at 32"!"
Jury is still out if it's worth $900, but among its peers? It's a no-brainer.

The OLED monitor is exceptional in its color abilities and overall use. HOWEVER, it is exceptionally troublesome to a) update firmware and b) calibrate. We have 4 year old PC's that do not have the current USB C 3.2 standard, and this monitor apparently requires a USB C 3.2 connection from the PC to it in order to do upgrades. It does not work with an older USB C connection, as our PC has. So, buy with caution and know that many have had problems updating firmware (go to Reddit) and the calibration also really requires you to have a colorimeter as well. We have one, but cannot get the calibration software to execute, so square 0. But the picture sure is purdy.

Fantastic Monitor! It’s an outstanding deal for gamers that double as content creators given it’s an OLED screen with a 240hz refresh rate mixed with great color management tools, calibration tools, excellent built in KVM and outstanding macOS support. It has an easy to use menu system that is both thoughtful and well designed.

I researched a lot to chooose the best premium 32in. gaming monitor and this was definitely the right choice. 4k 240hz, hdmi 2.1, dp 2.1 (UHBR10), 140w charger, HDR with 10 bit color, and a quick kvm switch. Literally everything you could ask for.

Excellent screen quality and size. The various hub ports on the back of the monitor for connecting multiple peripherals is an extremely useful benefit. I got an excellent price on an open box for this monitor and it exceeds expectations.

Writing to add another voice supporting Henry's review. This monitor is plagued by some major bugs that I'm surprised made it to production. I am experiencing the same bugs, and have also contacted support multiple times. While some people may just want the panel, these were core features that made me choose this monitor over other gen 3 OLEDs. The panel itself is absolutely beautiful and would be a 5-star product without any of the bugs. Taking 1 star off for each.
1) The firmware tool won't fully update all firmware, only PD and DMC firmware are able to update.
2) Triple clicking with peripherals connected to the hub will automatically switch the KVM, and there is no way to change this behavior. It's actually kinda comical because even when you're consciously trying, it's difficult to not do this(close tabs too fast? boom, black screen). And when you do it you need to spend 20s navigating through the OSD to change the video input back, and then wait, and then go back to the OSD again and change the peripherals to the right channel.
-Plugging all peripherals into a PC and not the hub circumvents this bug. But that means you cannot use the hub at all for a Keyboard or a Mouse. So the "KVM" is really just a "V".
-Another workaround is using omen gear switch with 2 PCs connected running the 'omen gaming hub' software on both PCs. However, if you unplug one of the PCs the bug will reappear.
3) Monitor's ability to talk with Omen Gaming Hub is not consistent. Occasionally you get a "Your monitor may be busy or unavailable." It's remains completely unavailable to modify any settings or use omen gaming hub for omen gear switch so you can use 2 PCs at the same time. Support had me reinstall multiple times which did not work. The only fix is to power off the monitor completely by disconnecting the power cord from the wall.
Some positives:
-This monitor is absolutely gorgeous. It's my first OLED, so maybe they're all this gorgeous, but I'm still amazed by how good it looks every time I turn it on. If none of the above bugs are a concern for you, it's worth buying. It actually hurts to give it 2 stars.
-The 140W pd USB type-c is fantastic and is able to charge more power hungry laptops (I'm using an HP zbook power 15.6 G10). I've had no issues connecting with it over usb-c.
-The omen gaming hub software seems to have a lot of potential for using 2 devices at the same time. I wish the product was more stable so I could test out gear switch more.

The screen is incredible with a really snappy refresh rate and is very powerful. The black levels are a bit deceptive as the screen has a slightly gray tint. On board sound is definitely a plus if you don’t have dedicated sound monitors.

This is the monitor to go for if you're looking to upgrade! I was using a 1440p monitor before this and the difference is night and day. The built in speakers could have a little more boom to them, thankfully there is a built in eq changer for your needs. The screen is bright and colorful, with a stunning refresh rate, so every image is crisp and clear. Well worth the price.

I bought this open box excellent from Best buy. It didn't include the hardware to mount the monitor to the stand. I blame Best buy for that not HP. The picture is beautiful. Run the HDR calibration tool in Windows crank that color saturation up. I see a lot of people complain about the stand. I think it's fine. It doesn't swivel but it turns really easily. It raises up higher than most monitors I've had. Updating the firmware went fine once i used the correct cables in the correct ports. I've had an issue with the DisplayPort 2.1 when connected to that it's been turning my monitor off repeatedly on its own. You can drop the DisplayPort down to 1.4 in the monitor settings. After I did that it never happened again. It never happened to me over HDMI either which is how I plan to use the monitor. I noticed the rear LED light doesn't seem to work if you disable the built-in speakers, but you don't have to use the speaker so I just leave them enabled and turned to zero volume. All the 32-in 4K oleds use one of two panels, either the LG WOLED or the Samsung qd OLED. This has got the qd oled if you want the curved screen, I recommend the Alienware. That's the only curved monitor in this class. Otherwise I would just buy whichever one is on a decent sale at the time you're looking. I got this for 850 open box Excellent. If I wanted a curved monitor I would have bought the Alienware that's on sale currently at Dell for $900. I saw the display model of this on the Best buy 4. I was a little worried that it didn't seem as bright as I wanted, but that's under the bright white fluorescent lighting of the store. Once I was at home. It's perfect! So unless you're in a room that is constantly filled with daylight, I don't think you'll have any issues. This is the first glossy screen monitor I've ever owned. The picture is nice but I have kids and I just don't know how it'll be with smudges. Only time will tell.

This monitor is really nice, but the kvm on the newest update is quite glitchy. It’s Qd OLED so picture quality is great and black levels are inky black as to be expected, so no complaints as far as picture quality is concerned. If hp fixes the kvm with a firmware update, this would be a 5 star rating for me.

This monitor with OLED 4K UHD - 240Hz screen has a great image; colors are vibrant and sharp. Great for everyday tasks, work, gaming. etc. Watching movies is excellent on this monitor as well.

I game on a PlayStation 5 and work on a Windows laptop. My personal laptop is a MacBook Air M1. First thing, the monitor is big, I am used to a 27 inch monitor so it took a little adjustment to get used to. I am glad it is bigger with the fan rather than the other cooling solutions implemented in other monitors. On PlayStation the colors, clarity, and vibrancy are perfect. Can't get any better than this. On my Mac, it also looks perfect so it just so happens to be a great companion for my Mac since it charges my laptop with its 140 W power delivery. Text fringing does not exist on macOS. In Windows it is a different story as Windows renders text differently. I thought text sharpness would be an issue since I came from a 27 inch 4K monitor but side by side I can hardly notice the difference. I love this monitor and I think with the discounts it is amazing value. There isn't much coverage for this monitor online but it is definitely worth considering over the competition. I did not have issues updating the software. I also eont use the kvm switch. The RGB in the back is qlso q very nice touch, very bright and customizeable.

This is an Amazing OLED 4k monitor. The two things that kind of big to me, This great monitor screen does not go all the way to the edges, there is a bevel to it that makes it look cropped, (like for a movie) at times, but easily ignorable. The other issue that you cant ignore is that the screen will restart at certain time to refresh the pixels. and by restart i mean will go black for 5 to 10 minuet, this only happens after hours of gameplay and being on, you can propone it but it will want to do the refresh no matter what..
Also Be aware that if you don't have a 4k 60FPS graphics card then as much as this will make things look amazing your graphics card will have a hard time upscaling to 4k if its not meant to handle 4k.
It has all the Best features of an OLED 4k 240hz, HDR works.

Decide to purchase this HP monitor becauss i did some searching to find a 4K 240Hz gaming monitor that has display port 2.1 for more authentic 4K gaming at high refresh rate. Even thought its only the UHBR10 (40gbps) instead of the 80mbps. It still uses DSC but not as heavly depended, so i wanted to see if there was a difference. And boy i tell you, coming from the 32” 4K 240hz asus rog swift and the Sony M10s 1440P 480hz ( which btw has the lowest input lag currently on the market). This HP surprisingly holds its own. The picture quality by far is better then both the Asus and Sony, the response time feels great , and gaming at 4K 240hz with a RTX 5090 is just what the doctor order. This monitor is a sleeper not many people know how great it actually is. My only draw back is not having fully 80 gbps bandwith for full 4K 240hz instead it will use DSC to compress it up to 240hz. But most people wouldnt honestly be bothered by it because this monitor is that good, in conclusion easily a top 5 monitor for 2025 for gaming at 4K high refresh rate.

Monitor is bright and has a lot of connectivity in the back to hook up all your keyboard accessories. Great for connecting to laptop that doesn't have a lot of usb a ports. Can also connect to devices using usb C along with HDMI and display port. The power brick is on the bigger size so that would be my only con

This monitor was absolutely amazing! The performance, screen quality and port selection was outstanding! The only things that I did not like about it is the white outline around the screen due to the entire housing be a white plastic, the level of noise produced from the fan and the gargantuan size of the power brick. Aside from those things the monitor performs absolutely amazing.

I’ve been shopping around for a new monitor, ideally at least 27-inches and 4K resolution as it would need to double for school/work (my aging eyes need sharp text). After some research and jumping on a $750 open-box deal, this has easily become one of my favorite monitors ever. The sheer number of ports makes it easy to connect and switch between my laptops (PC and Mac), PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X. The picture quality is amazing, but that’s a given.
Aesthetics are rather neutral and thus can blend into any environment.
Yes, it’s true the power brick is bigger and heavier than my cat. But all that power is put to good use for USB-C and the hub function
If you’re looking for a monitor for both gaming and work, this is the one to get. Being my first, I wouldn’t mind at all buying another one.

This is my first 4K OLED and it’s beyond stunning. It’s mostly used on my racing rig but the colors are great and the speakers are not to bad for when I don’t wanna wear a headset. The menus are awesome also, I know weird thing to praise but honestly makes everything else seem so basic

The HP Omen 32" OLED 4K 240Hz monitor is simply amazing in many ways. The built-in speakers are decent, though I prefer using my own speakers via the aux connection. It’s packed with features, including the ability to connect a Mac with a single cable. The picture quality is stunning, the on-screen display (OSD) is excellent, and the stand offers everything I need.
While it advertises DisplayPort 2.1, it still uses compression — but in practice, I noticed no issues with performance or image quality.
Unfortunately, I had to give this monitor a 3/5 for two main reasons:
Warranty confusion: The monitor is advertised with a 3-year warranty, but when I checked mine on HP’s website, it showed less than a year remaining. This shorter period is based on the manufacturing or retail sale date, not your actual purchase date. After contacting HP, they did update my warranty to the full 3 years, but you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get what you were promised.
HDR OLED protection settings reset: In HDR mode, the OLED protection settings reset whenever the monitor sleeps, turns off, or changes inputs. This doesn’t happen in SDR mode. I’m running the latest firmware, but there’s no fix — you have to manually re-enable these settings every time you use HDR.
Overall, this monitor delivers outstanding visuals and features, but the warranty process and HDR quirks keep it from being a perfect purchase.
