The stand wobbles like mike tyson in round 7 or like a 90 dollar monitor. This is unexceptable at 1000.00+ monitor. Picture is great, instructions for firmware update and usb connections are vague. Or non existent. I am very tempted to return.

Mine came with a very noticeable dead pixels or possibly some kind of damage in the top left corner. Had to return it because the monitor kept shutting off and would not stay on no matter what. To be fair, I did buy an open box, but I still should've gotten a fully functioning product. It looked amazing don't get me wrong, but you can get something WAAAY better for a lower price. Only 2 stars because it looked so go when it was working, otherwise it would've been 1.

Not sure if I had a defective product, but the ABL was extremely distracting, the entire screen would dim / brighten as I moved windows / UI elements across the screen. My use case is about 50 /50 productivity / entertainment. Not as noticeable when using for entertainment. Brightness as also significantly underwhelming coming from a 400 nit IPS panel; again though, could have been a defective model.
I will say the thunderbolt docking capability was excellent. Connected to my compatible laptop, got the full resolution, plus charging and the built in hub worked very well -- all over a single connection.

Displayport 2.1 just doesn’t work do not use it. It doesn’t use the true 2.1 bandwidth and causes display signal to be lost all the time needing you to turn the monitor on and off. After updating the firmware the decorative light on the back of the monitor shuts off.

Great monitor on paper however certain features designed without a lot of thought. The burn in prevention pixel cleaning is forced to run at 12 hours of usage and you cannot cancel it or delay it by more than a minute I believe. The pixel cleaning will also run on any black screen regardless of length so if you alt tab out of a game bam you cannot use your monitor anymore. HDR has a peak brightness of 450 nits which could be higher considering the price tag in my opinon. Display Port 2.1 is only uhbr10 so you will have to use DSC regardless.

The monitor has a nice picture but is supper buggy and HP is no help. My monitor consistently shuts off and has to be unplugged and plugged back in to work. If you want to update firmware forget it about it because it never works correctly. Definitely save your money and buy a brand that has better support and stand behind their product.

Never in my life have I had so many issues with a piece of tech and I wish I had just returned this hunk of junk after it started giving me issues within 5 minutes of setting up. Plug it in, monitor goes inactive, hard restart computer, works when turned back on. Change resolution in a game, monitor goes inactive, hard restart computer, works. Go fullscreen with Youtube, Netflix, etc, monitor goes inactive, hard reset computer, maybe it works when you turn back on. Try to navigate through the on monitor menus, black screen suddenly. Unplugging monitor and replugging does nothing, unplugging video cable and reseating does nothing, changing from DP to HDMI, no change. Literal garbage would work better for my viewing experience.
