I've always liked HP products and I most definitely am not disappointed by this laptop. I never realized a laptop could be as fast as a desktop computer but this one is. It is also extremely light and the display looks great.

Computer is fast with quick startup time. My son uses it for video editing and has no issues. I would have preferred a 16 GB option, but 8 GB is fine for general computing and most games.

This has been my laptop for everything! I use it for mild gaming, school and work.

I've tested this laptop on both Windows 10 and various Linux distributions and overall this has been an outstanding experience. It doesn't make too much noise (IMO), the refresh rate clocks in at 144hz and the color quality is solid - it runs all of the games I could hope to run such as Guild Wars 2, Dying Light, Borderlands, Valheim, ARK, etc. For those who use linux - that Optane drive is going to cause some issues so you'll have to do some tinkering to use it as your root drive; it can be fixed from the BIOS/UEFI. Other wise all of my games have identical performance to their Windows counter parts. I do wish however that we had more options for the back light colors on the keyboard, as well as more USB ports.

This laptop is great for gaming. It's fast, works great for most of my games at high settings. A few I must turn down to medium, but I get consistent 72fps in most. Some games I even get up to 150 fps.

This laptop meets and exceeds my expectations! Graphics were great, keyboard feels nice to the touch and is very reactive. I wish the battery life were better but that is really the only con in my opinion.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Can handle gaming AND remote learning. Consumer reports rated this model very highly and we are in complete agreement. The comparable models were more than twice the price.

It runs fortnite really well. I would say this is a good purchase for my 2 month old son! He enjoys plays Pbskids.org I also enjoy watching my Korean Dramas on this laptop. Good price for a GREAT laptop.

Truly happy with this HP product. Speed is excellent, and the resolution is also very good. Green lit keyboard looks awesome in dark settings. So far this is exactly as advertised.

This is an excellent computer super fast for everyday use and the ability to play games on it is also a great feature may not be the most powerful computer but very nice for what it is

This is a good laptop for the price. Overall I am happy, however... The description is wrong. This is not a 1660ti GPU, it is a 1660ti Max Q GPU which is an energy efficient version of the 1660ti. Because of this it is significantly slower. If you are buying this looking for the best possible performance you will be disappointed. That being said, what you get for the price is worth it. It just felt a little like a bait and switch to me.

My son loves his computer gaming laptop. Excellent gaming performance. Has gorgeous graphics. Fast, fluid gameplay. Sleek and portable.

Solid computer for lighter gaming. Don’t run anything too crazy when you’re on the go, plugged in you’re good though. Great starter pc.

I am not computer savvy - in store associate was attentive, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. She listened to what I needed and matched me almost perfectly at a good price! This computer is sleek and powerful. Plays my MMORPG faster than my desk top, so you know it handles the mundane tasks of life and work exceptionally. The ONLY drawback is it is heavier than I would like - combined with the power supply adapter it can get a bit cumbersome while travelling, but I guess it's a trade off for all that power and clarity!

Other than a few pieces of bloatware from HP it's an excellent value! I can easily get 70-150+ fps on most games. I do recommend getting a cooling stand if you plan to game for long periods of time because it can get pretty warm. However, even if the extra fans aren't running I don't have any problems with thermal throttling on the CPU or GPU. This is obviously not for the super extra type that want to do 1700 things at once while rendering a video and streaming 10 things online at the same time. LOL This is great for casual gamer and those multitaskers of the world. If you love green it's even better! I recommend adding a second 2.5" SSD for more storage and upping the RAM to 16gb (2X 8gb sticks) for better performance and more game room. don't buy this if you have unrealistic expectations about computers in this price point and think they should make you new clothes and wash your dishes while you play WoW and DOTA at the same time. Seriously a great gamer pc!! I highly recommend it!

This is a great laptop for media and light gaming,upgraded ram to 20gb and does everything very well,love it!

Runs way better than I imagined the 1660 Ti runs most of the popular games and have had no issues so far with it.
