Total impulse buy.. I was getting a new desk top tower, HP Envy, and while checking out the computers I was checking out the screens. I almost got caught up in the vibrant colors of the shiny screens but then I saw this one, mat view, and had to have it. The screen I was using was the shiny glass and after dealing with the fluorescent glare all day, you forget about the vibrant colors you just want to get away from the screen. This screen with the mat finish is AWESOME! I definitely don't get the eye fatigue like I used to. As long as work under flourscent lights I'll always get the mat screen.

Purchased a whirlpool in the past and will continue to purchase whirlpools in the future.

I reviewed alternative products at Amazon and Staples - Best Buy got my vote and purchase.

discussed with salesman that I was looking for monitor to use with my laptop, settled on this one based on price and performance and it was a great choice

This monitor is great! Clear and crisp with multiple options for connecting multiple sources. But the MSRP price tag is a bit hefty. I picked it up on sale for $119 instead of its standard $179 price. At $179, it's a bit pricey... but on sale, it's a steal!

This is an excellent monitor. It is big, bright and beautiful. I love being able to see the entire screen.

this was bought for a second monitor used for business. dual setup works well. my son has since hooked up his gaming system and has found a new home.

I love this monitor! I bought it to replace an older 19 inch monitor. I have not used it for gaming but rather a second screen for my other PC.

The 23 inch monitor is a good fit with the dual monitor system. It has just as good color and contrast as the higher end monitor it sits next to.

I actually did dual monitors and love them, easy install. Had to buy my HDMI cables separate but I think that's the case with most HD monitors.

This was a replacement for a monitor that failed on me after 3 months. This one works great. Great screen for all my applications and games.

Monitor was very crisp and colors are great. screen is non-glare unlike most IPS monitor out there. especially loved the almost non-existing borders. It worked great for my triple screen setup, looks even better when monitor is off, seemed almost as if it was one long monitor. Even though i downgraded from Dell 24" to this HP 23", i'm still happier with the results. got it on sale for 120 and worth every penny, so i bought 3 more for co-worker. definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but classy looking crisp monitor.
