Causes eyestrain
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked this monitor when I first got it - nice design, big screen, sturdy, good display. But once I started using it for 8 hours a day for work it started killing my eyes. Headaches and significant eyestrain. I did test it for PWM flickering using the pen test and didn't detect any, but I suspect it uses a very high frequency PWM flicker that can't be tested but still bothers the eye. Once I stopped using this HP and went back to my old LG monitor, my eyes felt once better. I am going to return it, and I recommend you get a flicker-free monitor from LG or Acer.
