Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Pavilion 32" LED QHD Monitor's large screen size and great resolution, finding it easy to use and of high quality. However, some customers noted the absence of built-in speakers and a somewhat heavy design. A few users also mentioned that the stand could be improved and that the refresh rate might be insufficient for users accustomed to higher refresh rates.

sweet monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first monitor above 1080p. I found it normal at first just because I am strictly a gamer but it was immediately noticeable that I could simply have a web page open on one half of the screen another web page open on a quarter of the screen on the other side and then a Word document in the small other quarter portion. I bought it because the price was pretty fantastic and also 4K gaming isn't something that I really feel like upgrading my PC for at this point I have a GTX 1070 which is an absolutely perfect GPU to run with this monitor. I get amazing gameplay the graphics are astounding and the color depth is just fantastic. I was replacing a 46-inch television I was using as my gaming monitor television. It is only a 1080p but it is a very nice Samsung television it was not on the cheap End by any stretch. The only knock that I had with it really was I was hoping for a higher refresh rate but it is overclockable to 70 Hertz refresh and works just fine right there so I'm happy with the extra 10 Hertz it does make a small difference. I am surprised no one else is advertised this. I didn't realize it was a 70 Hertz monitor but when it comes up in Nvidia it asks you if you want to run 70 Hertz and I selected yes and since then my games detected running at 70 Hertz and generally my framerate with a 1070 without capping it on most games at 1440p is 100 frames per second average depending on the game. In closing I don't think you could find a better monitor for the price. 32 inch is a great size especially at the resolution because you can open multiple pages and it still looks crisp and readable whereas with a 1080p monitor you start losing some of the pixel density when you start opening up multiple windows on a large display. The next monitor I get will be 4K but that won't be until I either get a second 1070 or buy the newer Nvidia cards when they come out in July.

A Steal and itz Stunning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is a steel and it's stunning. I've seen this monitor on display at my local Best Buy every time I go there. And it's always caught my eye although it wasn't something I needed and I didn't think I would like it as I tend to like to stay away from HP, for no particular reason I just like to look at other companies products ahead of HP. I also thought the frame color and stand looked odd. After seeing it at my local Best Buy the thought of having a 32-inch monitor was always on my mind so finally one day I said screw it I'm going down to get it, even though I didn't think I would like it. When I got it home it blew me away. The frame and the stand looks absolutely amazing and so does the picture and the colors are there very Vivid. There's lots of preset settings for different color modes as well as many adjustments to tweak the monitor if you choose to althoigh out of the box it's absolutely stunning nothing needs to be tweaked. I was also surprised to find that it was not a strain on my eyes. I use it with my Surface Pro in extended monitor mode. I can actually set the Surface Pro right in front of it if I want and that way I'll have split screen top and bottom pretty neat. While I was purchasing it my son was telling me why do you want to get that it if it doesn't have 4K? But when I got home he changed his tune. It really does produce a picture that looks 4K and again the colors are amazing videos are amazing. The next day while redecorating his room he dropped his old monitor by mistake and cracked his screen, now it looks like I'll have to give him this one and then return to Best Buy and get another one for myself go figure!

Screen went bad. Had to return it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked well for about a week, then multicolored vertical lines appeared near the center of the screen. Returned it and bought a 27" screen of a different brand.

Do not purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made this purchase in late June. Two weeks later, a vertical blue line appeared on the screen. I googled and found that many people experienced the same with their HP monitors. Contacted the HP support. They shipped a refurbished monitor and asked me to ship mine back. After more than 2 weeks waiting, I received a monitor with a bent edge. Now I have to wait for the third monitor to be shipped and return this one. Almost two months have passed! I will never buy any monitor from HP.

Excellent Monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't believe someone gave this monitor a bad review because it isn't 4k. The monitor is 1440p, which is perfectly adequate for anyone. If you didn't want a 4k 32" monitor, perhaps you should have read the spec sheet first before purchasing. With that said...I am here reviewing the product I knew I bought, that being an excellent 1440p 32" monitor. The display itself works great, and works well with both Mac and Windows. It's extremely vivid and has great color reproduction. I'm also impressed with the quality of the stand and the overall monitor. It looks absolutely stunning on my desk. Lastly, the monitor performs great. I am able to play first person shooters without noticeable input lag. Keep in mind, this is coming from a person who owns an Asus with 1mm input lag. Absolute steal at $300, or even $400. Do not hesitate on buying.

REALLY GOOD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1440p and Freesync Colors are really Good. Blacks are impressive, on par with IPS panels. the VA panel color shift only happens at Extreme angles. I got it on sale at Best Buy for $299, an absolute steal. If they were on sale today, I would go buy a 2nd one. I won't call it perfect but there is nothing bad enough to rate any less than 5 stars. I would give it 4.5 if I could. The colors are accurate but I want just a tad more pop. I used the Freesync setting since, to me, this was the best Preset settings. I have been looking for calibrated settings for this monitor, so far, I can not find any on the web. 32" and 1440p works well, the PPI is acceptable. Very happy. I use it for Windows 10 and Gaming. I play MMO games where 1ms response time isn't as important as RTS/FPS games. I works great and looks great in all the MMO games I play. WoW, SWTOR, GW2, EQ, ESO all look really nice on this massive monitor.

Had to return
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor would have been great, had I been able to assemble it. The box was missing the cord unit that connected monitor to power unit. But specs looked good. I just didn't get to use it. I'll still recommend, as it wasn't the actual monitor that was the reason to return. There wasn't a replacement on site. Suggest that one opens the box at the store and inspect to be sure all elements were there.

Poor Advice and Wrong Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sales person appeared to listen (partially) and then steered me towards a large monitor. My PC was so old that the new monitor had a terrible image (at least I think that was the problem). The store was good about my returning the purchase. While returning the item I saw another one that had just been returned.

disapointed in quick failure
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.things were going well until the dreaded blue screen. After only 4 months of use I was told it needed a mother board and graphics card. That would take 4 weeks. Option b replace it

Great Monitor at the sale price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a 1080P 21:9 34" LG UltraWide monitor, I wasn't sure this 32" 1440P 16:9 would be a worthy upgrade. So far it's lived up to my expectations and more. It has a crisp picture at the native 1440P resolution and even scales well down to 1080P, with slightly less crisp, but usable text scaling. I've tried it with gaming and it works great. The monitor supports up to 70Hz refresh rate, even though the site only shows 60Hz. Don't let the 7ms response time deter you. The more snobbish uber-gamers will probably pass on this one for a higher response time & refresh rate. More power to them if they want to spend over $1k on a monitor, but it's a waste of money for the average gamer.

Amazing monitor for work and home
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this monitor! So much that I bought 2 of them, one for work and one for home. 32" is perfect for side by side document comparison (screen split) and the resolution is ideal for every day work and house use. It's Quad HD which is perfectly sufficient/ 4K screens might be good for videos but they are almost useless for normal applications (font gets so small). Both times I got this around Black Friday at Best Buy for about $230 which is a steal. No where else were the prices that low. Warning: Once you go big you will never be able to go back to 27" or 23". This is the perfect size. PS there is a Bang & Olufsen version for those who need speakers. I personally have other music devices like my Bose Soundlink so this is the right one.

The perfect monitor.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed more screen room for all the windows I create for my work (3 internet, 2 database tables, photo and video editing etc.), but I also need large fonts because of poor vision in the family. After careful research, I discovered that 27" monitors were too small, even with 2 of them on my desk. And a 4k monitor was useless under 40", except for video editing. My store had only 2 of these 1440 monitors, and both were in boxes on the top shelf, making me a bit nervous about quality. Fortunately the sales guy promised to take this one back if it did not fit my needs, and work well with my new iBuypower PC. After 2 weeks of use, I have decided to replace my second LG 24" monitor with another 32" from HP. I love the LGs that I have purchased over the years, but this monitor is fantastic. The huge bonus is 2 HDMI ports, which allows me to add the output from the cable box and easily switch between the computer and TV by clicking a button in the back right corner twice. The screen is bright and sharp, and admittedly better than the aging LGs I still use on the older computer. I don't do gaming, so I have no idea if the monitor is a good fit for anyone into high speed graphics, but the HD videos I download are perfect, and photo editing 1080 screenshots is a dream with a 1440 monitor. I waited 3 years for this monitor, so I am one 'happy camper'.

No speakers and no audio out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a very good product unless you just need a streamlined display. No bells or whistles with this item, just the panel and some very spare I/o

A great monitor in budget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a monitor that's 27" or more and above FHD res. This is the deal I could find for black friday which met my requirements. It's not 4k and I don't think I need 4k for my needs. I need a big size monitor such that I can multi task by keeping windows opened in two halves. I hooked this to my 2015 Macbook Pro over HDMI 2.0 and it works well. The panel isn't super bright which goes easy on my eyes. The colors are decent not super vivid(probably have to tune the settings but I liked the factory settings). The panel is great without any screen bleeding or dead pixels. Kudos to HP on that. For this size of a monitor with resolution above FHD and under 250$ it's a great deal for a simple user. Thanks to Best Buy for offering this at such an amazing price.

Phenomenal Display!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a month of looking, researching and trying different monitors I finally went with this one. The price was a no-brainer. $299 for a 32" 2560x1440 its a frigging good deal. The quality is exceptional as well as the features. The brightness and contrast are on point. Great for my graphic design work. Images look clear and very sharp. Colors are vivid and not saturated. 100% sRGB color space is fantastic for what I do. Games look insane on this puppy. Coming from a 1080p monitor is a world of difference. I have it hooked up to a GTX 980Ti.

Great Monitor For Running Multiple Applications
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been running 3 separate monitors off my my PC to support multiple concurrent applications. While this has worked just fine I wanted to reduce the clutter on the desk and the cabling underneath it. I looked around the internet to see what was available and practical (cost and utility). The HP 32Q seemed to fit my needs nicely. The sale price at BestBuy was excellent couple with a 10% Birthday Discount made it a no brainer. Brought it home, installed it, and all my concurrent applications are coexisting just great. Space is freed up and the rat's nest of PC cables is less messy. Resolution and detail are excellent. Same with color. No distortion, artifacts or blurs.

Buy 4K if you can. Day & Night Difference!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not a bad monitor at all. But once using 4K monitor there is no no no for anything lower than 4K for big size monitor. I just got these 2 of them for my office use. thought i do not wanted to give $$$ burden to my employer for buying 4K instead i gave this monitor as option. received in just 2 hours! started using it and found that monitor has bigger pixels compared to my 4K i have at home. there is day and night difference. if you can afford for little extra money go with 4K LG monitors they are good. I am having stress on my eyes while working on this monitor. I can not complain to employer LOL bcoz i have asked them to buy it (to save money). poor me. again, this monitor is great. looks solid, have adjustable stand which is giving you angle. not height. colors are good too. but 4K is great and no comparison.

Excellent monitor!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a second monitor, either to use as a dual monitor for my desktop computer and/or as an external monitor for my laptop. Since it accepts both HDMI and VGA inputs, it makes it ideal for this
