The price is right for a monitor this size. Resolution is acceptable, but not great. The set-up was very easy.

It's not the absolute best monitor, but for the price, it might be the best. Find it on sale, though!

Exactly as described. Good quality picture, nice looking frame and base. The hdmi plug was a little cheap but is working fine after 1 week.

I have been wanting a larger monitor to help me with my freelance design work, and picked up this 32" HP Pavilion QHD LED Monitor. I work primarily on a Mac, and my wife works on a PC, so this was the perfect opportunity to test cross platform. And it passed with flying colors! The monitor is good looking, not too heavy and intuitive to use and set up. Once plugged in, you can use the supplied HDMI cable to hook up to your PC. I have a touchscreen DELL that we use, which had a predetermined HDMI port on the side of it, so plugging it in and firing it up right away on the monitor was easy. Took all of 5 seconds. There is power button on the back right to turn the monitor on, and a toggle joystick just above that. When turned on, there is a little white dot of light on the frame of the monitor and that is it. Moving round to the back, there is a power port, 2 USB ports, a USB-C port, a HMDI port and a DisplayPort, along with a 3.5mm audio out. The only cable that comes with the monitor is a HDMI cable (besides the power cord). That was great for connecting the DELL, but I also have a HP Spectre and a a HP Spectre Folio which both use USB-C outs, so I had to order a cable for that connection. Easy enough, had to wait a day for it. Then connecting to the MacBook Pro, I needed a mini display port to HDMI cable, so had to order one of those as well. I get that HP can't include cables for every eventuality, but at least a cable to connect newer HP models would have been nice. As for the display itself, it runs nice and cool (to the touch) without any flicker/anomalies at all. It runs at a strong 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz, with a 10000000:1 dynamic; 3000:1 static contrast and 5 ms gray to gray (with overdrive); 20 ms gray to gray display. There is a lot of adjustment available for your color preferences using the rear facing joystick. The picture is not as ultra crisp as I was expecting, when plugged into my HP Spectre Folio. I've adjusted the settings, but nothing is making it look as sharp as the backlit LED screen on the laptop. I guess I was expecting better out of it. Don't get me wrong, the picture is nice, it's clear, but not as crystal clear as I was expecting. The monitor worked very well across all laptops I tested it on, including design work on the MacBook Pro, and watching video on the HP Spectre via Netflix. Overall, I would recommend this monitor, it's a great piece of kit for the price, just wish it was a little sharper when connected to my laptop(s) and also came with a standard USB-C connector, to be compatible with HP products right out of the box.

Right off the bat, you’ll notice how different using a monitor of this size is, and eventually how great it becomes. I normally use 27” monitors for both work and home, and even though 32” isn’t that big of a size jump, it feels like it. This thing is huge, but in a good way! Setting up the monitor is super fast. It has a standard VESA mount configuration for wall or other mounting, and when using the stand, the vertical portion is already installed in the monitor, you just need to mount it to the base plate. The base plate is super heavy, and keeps the monitor in place with ease. You have some tilt capability by not much, and there is no height adjustment. I will say, the power supply that comes with this is incredibly large, almost shockingly large, so just be prepared for that depending on where you are setting it up. The display was super nice right out of the box. You have a pretty decent set of onboard configuration settings to fine tune the picture, and it also has a low blue light filter setting as well. After some very minor tweaks, I was extremely happy with the picture. Whether using home office applications or playing PUBG or Fortnite, the picture was amazing, and the anti-glare works very well. I tested it out using a few different PCs, an HP Omen gaming desktop at home and an HP 8561 laptop for the office. I will say, the picture really comes alive when you push it with a nice graphics card. The HP Omen running Fortnite was beautiful. I was amazed at the color and clarity. The monitor can also go to a 75mHz refresh rate, which is nice. While it would have been nice for 4K resolution, the 2K is definitely a big step up from using a 1080p display, you’ll notice right away. Connections are limited to just HDMI and Display Port, so if you don’t have that on your source device, you’ll need an adapter. At the office running Windows 10 and mostly business applications, the display is nice and crisp. Easily open multiple programs and cascade your windows for an everything all at one view, and it’s super nice using the Windows 10 snap to fit features. I wish the monitor had some sort of PiP capability so I could fit more than two apps on the screen at the same size, like a 4x4 setting would be nice, but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. I do wish the display got a little brighter, even at 300 candela, I was wishing for a boost of brightness in full daylight hours. Overall this monitor is a great value in this space, unless you are a hard core gamer or need other bells and whistles for a 32” display, this one will suit you just fine.

The monitor is great but the base connection is weak and it is difficult to get the monitor to sit horizontally straight. I ended up butting a cup under one end to get the screen straight.

I enjoy this monitor but only one regret was that I had looked at refresh rate and purchased one with 75 or 144 so with the great graphics response it would have had even more speed
