This was purchased for my 14 y/o as his introduction into gaming laptop/ PC world and HE LOVES IT!!! He has been on that laptop every opportunity he’s allowed. The price point was perfect, as these items can tend to be very pricey. The associate in the store was very helpful with answering any questions that I had. This is a great option for a first computer for anyone to begin with gaming. It was good speed, no lags. Display quality is also good. Batt. I got this for my son for his 13th birthday. He loves it.

So good, this model out performs anything happening on other device makers this thing is fire running 5 years now on this line has not failed constant updates smooth frame rate magical online gaming

Amazing laptop! I can run most all games at max graphics and still get 80-120 fps, if not higher for some titles and older games. Works great for 3D modeling as well. Battery life off charging does suck though, at max load I’d probably get an hour or less off charger, but they make chargers for a reason! You’re probably gonna want to upgrade ram at some point also, but it’s easy so it’s not huge hassle! The top screen is a little flimsy so you’re gonna want to be careful with how you close/open it. Works amazing for Sea of thieves, Valheim, The Isle, Path of Titans, Minecraft (with shaders and endless mods, BeamNG, RDR2, Fortnite etc!

This laptop is really smooth, gaming performance is outstanding, and definitely worth it.

this is a pretty solid choice if you’re looking for a budget gaming laptop. it can handle a lot of games at high settings when plugged in, and the high refresh rate makes the desktop super smooth. the battery life is also pretty decent esp when you’re just browsing or doing light stuff. a downside, however is the build quality. it’s made out of plastic so its kinda flimsy and the hinge is a bit wobbly as well :/ it also runs hot and loud when u do heavy gaming. the screen is fast and i also like the colors which I think would be great for creative work but thats just me :)) overall its a pretty good pick (taking into account ur budget) if u want strong performance for the price and dont pay much mind to the cons

The 144Hz Full HD display is a standout — colors pop, and the higher refresh rate really enhances both gaming and everyday use. I’ve found the keyboard comfortable for long sessions, and the system handles multitasking well, especially after upgrading the RAM.

Able to play my games at high fps, great display, battery life is average if you turn off the dedicated gpu, would prefer more than 8GB of ram, so I installed another 8GB.

Excellent device, it's fast and good for gaming. It's lightweight, and the charger doesn't consume much power. Highly recommended.

the only problem i have is running new gen games, and sometimes the wifi card stops working and i have to hard restart the laptop, and this is a known problem with this laptop too, others reported similar problems. I find it only minorly anoying and worth it for the price i paid! a great laptop and has performed well otherwise

Pretty decent laptop. Runs pretty well. Don't expect to run newer games

Fans run every 5 minutes and are very noisy- be warned that there is no fix for this. You can disable always-on fan in the BIOS, you can set it to "Quiet" in the OMEN gaming hub, you can even strip the dust mesh out, but nothing will eliminate the fans whistling every 5 minutes even when all you do is browse the web. Do not purchase if you intend to use in a space without overwhelming background noise. Battery life is poor even when just doing web browsing and spreadsheets and there is no setting to cap charging at 80% for preserving battery life, only a nebulous "Adaptive Battery" setting in the BIOS. Beyond that, it makes a decent gaming laptop performance-wise but is a poor choice for using as a replacement for an everyday work/play machine

The display is sharp and vibrant, with a high refresh rate that makes gameplay feel incredibly smooth. Colors look great, and the screen brightness is more than enough for both indoor and well-lit environments. The keyboard is comfortable with good key travel, making long gaming sessions enjoyable, and the backlighting adds a nice touch.
