The HP Victus 15.6" is a great pick if you're getting into PC gaming or need a capable laptop for everyday use. The Intel Core i5 and RTX 3050 combo handles most games well on medium to high settings, and the 144Hz display makes gameplay feel super smooth.
It looks clean and modern in Mica Silver, and the keyboard is comfortable for long sessions. The 512GB SSD keeps things running fast, and there’s enough power for school, work, and light content creation too.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly gaming laptop that still delivers solid performance, this one’s a smart choice.

For the price it's a great budget buy. I had to stuff an additional 2TB of Storage and 32GB of RAM for it to make sense for my workloads and games, but I'd say it is a better bargain than most PCs in it's price range Used from BackMarket or FB MarketPlace.

Amazing computer great for gaming and for work haven't had any problems with it. I do recommend keeping it plugged in because the battery life kind of sucks but still great computer

Great laptop for the price! Works great, sharp graphics, and not too bad of a keyboard. The only downside is the battery life, otherwise, wonderful product!

I bought this for my 12-year-old daughter for the holidays, and she uses it for both gaming and schoolwork. It’s perfect for what she needs and has given her no issues so far. She can even play The Sims 4 without any lag. While she doesn’t use mods or custom content, the laptop easily handles the base game plus multiple expansions.
It’s lightweight, the fans work well, and it doesn’t overheat even after hours of gameplay. Overall, it’s a great laptop and a solid purchase.

Decent response time. The graphics are great for the price of the laptop. Battery isn’t the best, but can’t be mad about it because the laptop is very budget friendly

The HP Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop in Performance Blue strikes a balance between affordability and performance, making it an enticing option for gamers seeking a capable machine without breaking the bank. With its Intel Core i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, the laptop delivers smooth gameplay and impressive visuals, especially with the 144Hz Full HD display. The 8GB memory and 512GB SSD provide sufficient storage and responsiveness, ensuring swift loading times for games and applications. The design, featuring the eye-catching Performance Blue color, adds a touch of style to the gaming experience, distinguishing it from other laptops in its price range.
While the HP Victus excels in performance and value, it does have some limitations to consider. The 8GB memory may feel constrained for more demanding multitasking or future-proofing, and users might consider upgrading it for optimal performance. Additionally, while the RTX 3050 provides solid gaming performance for most titles, it may struggle with the most graphically intensive games at higher settings. Overall, the HP Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop offers excellent value for casual and mid-range gamers, with its balance of performance, affordability, and stylish design making it a compelling choice in the competitive gaming laptop market.

Pretty awesome computer! The graphics card is a bit deceptive on the product listing as I did no realize that the laptop and desktop gpus both have the same name but are different depending on what hardware their bundled with so I thought I was getting a laptop with a bit more power but no matter this laptop has still proved to be an awesome purchase and I really like it. I use it as a backup work computer and a gaming laptop for indie games and older games, oh and also mods and it works really great for that. Overall, super happy with this purchase

I got mine on black Friday discount, 300 dollars off retail, so that does factor into my review. This is my 2nd HP budget gaming laptop since 2020. Both have been able to run modern games at low settings. The big draw back to both is A only 8GB of RAM on the standard/budget model, and relatively small SSD drive space by todays bloated game install sizes. Excellent value for money and highly recommend for budget entry level gaming laptop.

Easy to set up and great for a beginner. Was told I couldn't install more ram but that was incorrect. We bought 16 GB of ram and installed it. Works great. Great bang for your buck entry level gaming laptop. We have been able to play AAA titles with no issues. Workers were trying to tell us not to get it and that we weren't able to buy ram for it. There is an empty slot where you can install more. It configured automatically. We had an initial issue with being sold a refurbished one as a brand new one. Luckily we caught it and were able to take it back as we were charged full price when it was an open box returned one. Manager couldn't find the 1 they had left. An employee was able to locate it right where it said it was. We felt we were being played at first. But the worker that helped us thank you for finding it. My son was very happy. Graphics and everything are great for a first time PC gamer. The only downside is the battery life. However he plays it on his desk so he can plug it it when needed.

This was purchased for my 14 y/o as his introduction into gaming laptop/ PC world and HE LOVES IT!!! He has been on that laptop every opportunity he’s allowed. The price point was perfect, as these items can tend to be very pricey. The associate in the store was very helpful with answering any questions that I had. As a single mom who stopped at Nintendo I had PLENTY lol

The HP Victus laptop combines sleek design with powerful performance, ideal for gaming and productivity. Featuring high-refresh-rate displays, modern AMD or Intel processors, and dedicated NVIDIA graphics, it delivers smooth gameplay and multitasking. Its spacious storage, advanced cooling system, and customizable backlit keyboard make it a versatile choice for everyday use.

Purchased at 529 and it far exceeded my expectations. This machine comes with 1 open RAM slot and 1 open NVME slot, so i got a Crucial 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz kit (2x 16GB) and a Team Group 2TB NVME SSD and this thing is a workhorse for my needs.
I really appreciate the muted 'Gamer' theme as the keyboard is backlit in white and the whole appearance is very mature with minimal branding.
13th Gen i5 works well for my needs, and 6GB of dedicated RTX 3050 horsepower is very reliable. I currently use it for esports titles which all get 100+FPS maxed out, RTS titles, and indie games.
If you are realistic about your needs, I think this a great purchase.
At the time of this review this machine is even lower priced at 499, making it a steal. Add some RAM and a 2nd SSD!

Great laptop, haven’t had a single issue with it since I bought it. If I were to pick anything at all to complain about, battery life isn’t great…but it’s a powerful machine so that’s kinda expected
