Super good gaming laptop, it runs games so smooth never had a gaming laptop

I can't say one way or the other how this laptop performed. I bought it on sale to run the Zwift (cycling) and e6 Connect (golf) sims. The hardware spec seemed to run the programs well enough, but I immediately started getting dll system errors unrelated to those programs. So instead of trying to troubleshoot the OS, I tried resetting it. However, I got an error during the Windows reset process which prevented the reinstallation of the OS. So I immediately returned the laptop. I'm giving HP the benefit of the doubt by not attributing this to a hardware issue, so I've given three stars. I was a bit put off by the cosmetics of the chassis, but that's just a personal thing and didn't factor into my review. I prefer the cosmetics of the Dell Alienware design which is what I eventually got. This laptop has a very good spec for the sale price I paid (which comes up randomly). But I wouldn't have paid full retail for it.

Brst value laptop. Friendly user . Recommended for finance students.

A good laptop that works as intended. I've been able to play for a few hours at a time without it overheating, not sure beyond that though. Playing something like cyberpunk on ultra is probably out of its reach, but if you're looking for a good mid tier laptop then this is it

Amazing Laptop, better if it come with 16GB memory. For people that is wondering why the game they run will have lower FPS and their CPU/GPU is barely 50%. You need to plug in your laptop, install Nvidia GeForce to update your graphic card and change your laptop to high performance from manage 3D in Nvidia control panel.

Good value entry level HP Laptop for Gaming Casually

Love this laptop. I originally bought it for school but now that school I am able to run games like the Sims 4 and Tomb Raider on this without an issue. It is very affordable and worth the money if you are looking for a cheaper game to do both schooling and games.

I enjoy using the HP Victus 15.6 laptop. It will not only be used for gaming. But also for some of my office use. It seems to be very quick with my high-speed internet service. I just wish the keyboard was laid out a little differently. I would recommend it.

Great laptop, great performance and finish. Only reason for four stars is the durability as it isnt as "tight" as it was when I bought it.

Great gaming laptop for the price. Only downfall so far is that the laptop has issues accepting all 32 GB of the ram upgrade I bought which I read is due to HP laptops being picky about the brand of ram used on it. I bought PNY XLR8 gaming 32 GB. I accepted 16 GB with the 8 GB so able to run at least 24gb no problem.

It’s quick and easy to use. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is a little heavy to carry around but it’s still overall a great laptop
