Fantastic price during Thanksgiving sale. Great looking laptop. It is fast to start and load web pages. The display is detailed and bright to me. Runs quiet and cool for everyday tasks. I am not a gamer even though I purchase value priced gaming units for the excellcent specifications and performance. As others have noted, the battery life could be better which is true for most current laptops as manufacturers use smaller size and capacity batteries to cut cost and lower the weight of the unit. Ability to add RAM is a plus. Also, HP has good customer support as compared to other companies. I really like this pc at the $480 sale price. I would not pay $1000 for it.

Love the computer;too bad the battery life let's the unit down. About 3 hours use is it's limit (and that's not gaming). You need to be prepared to have the charger with you most of the time.

So far so good, a little slower than expected on the start up and that was after increasing the 8GB memory to the max 32GB. Battery life does well, I've worked in spreadsheets for 6 hours before needing to plug in. This is with multiple windows open the access information.

This works nice when doing school work or some light gaming. The only thing that is not great is how loud the fan is when gaming. Honestly the fan noise is just a nitpick.

Had this for a year, it’s pretty good for online gaming daily tasks, and important work (can’t handle gaming on max settings, best to play games on recommended graphics)

For the Black Friday sale price (about $450) it is a great deal. I don't use it for gaming but as a general purpose Laptop it's fast, has enough onboard memory and storage.

This laptop handled everything I needed for basic gaming and home office. The worker recommended it and it has worked great!

If you can get this on sale it might be worth it. Otherwise it's just an OK computer. The computer itself works fine but, the keyboard and trackpad on it are very hard to get used to. The layout is shifted in a really strange way so it'll take you quite a few days I think to get used to it. The trackpad also just seems to do things on it's own. I'm not sure if mine is just defective or what's going on with it. I try to only use a mouse with this laptop though because it's so bothersome. 1 plus side is, it's very easy to upgrade the RAM in it! I upgraded it within a week of purchase and it's been running smoothly.

This has got to be one of the best computers i have ever used, keyboard feels fantastic, display is crisp, and that 1650 is a beast with any game i throw at it. All around its the perfect intro gaming laptop

Love my HP - Victus 15.6 Gaming Laptop. Easy to navigate and learn the gaming hub. Vivid colors for game graphics. Fast processor with a backlit keyboard is the bomb. If you love gaming this is the laptop for you.
