My daughter been using the Victus 68U87UA#ABA (#15-FA0031DX) with an Intel Core i5-12450H and 8GB DDR5 and 512GB for over two months now and we’re quite happy with it. Truth be told, this machine is good for light gamers and a memory upgrade is a must if you plan to run LOL or Counter-Strike. I expected the battery life to be better for a game purpose laptop, but this equipment is so light and responsive that the qualities outweigh the flaws. The GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and the 15.6” Full HD LCD can handle the graphics and make me wonder what an OLED screen could do – maybe the next time. The backlight keyboard is a default for a gaming laptop, but a RGB backlight could improve it a lot and make it a unique device on its price & configuration range. The Wi-Fi6 network is a nice add, but I feel that it could be better when comparing with another Wi-Fi5 Dell laptop that I have, so I’m waiting for HP to officially answer if it is compatible with a “M.2 PCIe Wi-Fi 6E network card”, so I believe that a $20 investment will improve it and take advantage of my Wi-Fi 6E router. My conclusion is that this is a very good laptop for its price and my only regret was not waiting a little longer to buy it, as I could have saved $100, making it completely unbeatable.

A great laptop for everyday work and some light gaming. The battery life leaves a bit to be desired though.

Excellent computer for the kids does not get hot when you use the keyboard while playing games it's absolutely amazing tough quality I bought a HP omen before this and it wasn't nearly as good not any viruses yet seems to be the ultimate computer that you could buy for the price

I really like this laptop! It’s currently on sale for $549.99 plus tax which comes out to about $590. But I got this laptop for $540 (gift cards and gift certificate). I came from a 4K i7 Asus Zenbook which was around $1,600 and I have to say there really isn’t much of a drop off between this laptop and my previous Asus. It’s pretty fast for an i5 and the backlit keyboard is very nice as well. It has an Ethernet port for hard wiring which a lot of laptops don’t include these days. It also has an 1 HDMI port, 1 USB-C port, 1 SD card slot, 1 audio port and 2 USB-A ports (regular USB port). The speakers are nice when listening to music or movies. As for the display/screen, it is 1080P with 144HZ (refresh rate) which I have to say looks great and does make a difference when gaming, watching videos and movies. I really like this laptop and highly recommend it!

Laptop works great and loads up quick. I did notice that tge battery doea die fairly quickly. Other than that i would give it a 5 Star****

Its a nice looking laptop, the built quality was beyond my expectations. Its very fast having a last gen CPU, the set up was quick and easy i got 8 more gigs of ram, and the installation was simple enough after watching some you tube videos however. It runs hot. Quick. I thought it was normal because i was playing Forza horizon 5 and its a very demanding game, but it also starts to get too hot with games like Tetris Effect or Car mechanic sim 21. I dont really mind that much but the fans are noticable and i imagine that if it gets this hot so quick-5 minutes into a game session. The laptop is not really gonna last. The keyboard feels very intuitive and the screen is nice. Oh and the battery is not gonna last you 4 hours unless you dim the screen so think twice before taking it on the go. Its funny how i have this laptop a poor rating and the best buy up conveniently crash. Check my screenshot. Now you know why this thing has a high rating

for this price, this laptop runs smoothly and fast and can run schoolwork and games at high speeds.

Purchased this laptop as an upgrade to a gaming pc. The graphics are loved and the upload speed. Did have to take it to geek squad within the 1st thirty days due to the screen of death hince the 4 star instead of 5. They were able to fix it and it’s been an additional month since and no more issues.

I was so nervous about jumping into the gamer Pc world but this laptop is amazing and is a great starter for anyone looking to jump into PC Gaming!

The laptop is decent but since it is a gaming laptop, charge runs out pretty quickly. It’s also pretty heavy to transport , not really something you wanna use for class. Other than that it’s nice to have.

Nice laptop.Got it like a month ago.Bought it mainly for coding and happy with the result. Reasonable price.Only minus is a battery.Last no longer than 3 hours

Needed a laptop for work and I don't care about battery life. This laptop is a beast. Only needed to add an additional 8GB memory and it's good to go.

Awesome laptop, I got this item on black friday I saved a lot and would still recommend it for the normal price It performs good either for work or games basic, GTA V, Warzone 2.0 I am happy with it.

My girlfriend and I love it! Not the best gaming laptop out there for AAA gaming titles, but a great budget one ($450 open-box) that will still run everything smoothly especially if you play competitive esport titles like PUBG, League of Legends, Valorant, etc. Just make sure to upgrade the RAM to at least 16 GBs and you’ll be golden!
