Battery life is abysmal.

The trade offs for last gen performance to battery life is what you paid for.

Great machine for non Hardcore gaming.

Like it better than my 2 year old HP entry level Gaming laptop with AMD GPU and Graphics. That dog has stuttering graphics and audio at times. Really only running Roblox on the new machine. No issues. Nvidia puts out monthly driver updates, and it is important to install them. Only thing I wish this had was a bay to install a second drive, as the the 512gb SSD is filling up rapidly.

HP Victus Low End Model

It seems to be heavier duty than the standard HP build. I like the cooling grating across the back to provide more airflow. The speakers arent very loud, but obviously ear buds/head phones can augment this problem. The display is crisp and a good size. The keyboard again is a step up from the standard HP fare. Performance seems adequate for a casual gamer.
