Just what I was looking for for my grand daughter who will be going to college this fall. Fast, 512 SSD drive, plenty of memory and lightweight. She loves it. Touch screen a nice touch. and number keypad.

If this was truly a gaming "laptop" there would be an option to use that 144 Hz display with built in discrete GPU. You have to have an external display connected & internal 144 Hz display turned off in order to use this laptop for true gaming which negates the idea of gaming on internal display. You need to be tethered to an external display to game with it. When you see that it has an internal 144Hz display it makes you think you can game on it & you just can not game on it. There is no option to use the discete GPU with internal display. The iGPU is handicapped by being cut down to half of the normal resources that most laptops get with most modern intel processors so not game friendly at all. Other than this very glaring fault it is a great laptop. It has a very fast processor that can give previous generation midrange desktop processors a solid run for the money. Having 8 real cores even if 4 are efficiency cores are better than 6 cores with hyperthreading of previous generations. Both have total 12 threads. This laptop comes with a very fast 500 GB PCIE-4 M.2 drive & this laptop is very responsive. Unfortunately there is no internal space to add more storage & only one of the internal memory slots is populated. This brings me to the upgradability of this laptop. In spite of what i have read it is upgradable but not easily. I managed to do it myself in spite of having had a stroke a few year ago for which makes my left hand very shaky. The 2 hard parts are removing the bottom cover & upgrading SSD as the SSD in encrypted which required special software tools to clone if you dont want to reinstall operating system. Once I reinstalled the operating system it is automatically re-encrypted. I recommend having a computer technician to do this. I also added an additional 8 GB of memory. That was the easy part. It is now running in 2 channel mode whereas stock was only 1 channel. There is no extra port internal to add even another M.2 drive so any added storage must be external. Fortunately we have an external dispay to attach it to at home & therefore could in fact use the discrete GPU so all is not lost. My recommendation to purchace is based on use case that as a gaming computer it be looked at as a desktop replacement. Not a laptop when gaming. Performance when gaming will still be on low end of gaming performance but usable with 1080P & max medium settings to get good frame rates & smooth game play.

This laptop is a great machine for entry level gaming. My wife and I got one for my sister-in-law as her first gaming laptop and thus far it has been a great machine for all her gaming needs.

It's a functional little laptop but even basic gaming strains that basic 8gb. A few extra bucks in the price for 16gb would have been a better choice at the design board.

It’s pretty good for the price I paid. And for the spec it’s decent I do have a desktop I play games on that mostly. Laptop sometimes do feel slow but it does the work

Bought it for my brother. He seems to have no issues playing any games till now. Hasn't faced any issues with school/ work loads either. So overall I'd say it's worth the price, maybe more.

It is a perfect gaming laptop for beginners/casual gamers. Build quality is excellent, and fan noise is minimal. Add that with the price, and the value is clear. Would absolutely recommend.

This laptop was a steal! The gaming graphic card works well for other programs like autocad and solidworks.

Got this great laptop at its $300 discount deal. GTX 1650 can support most popular games. And the most important thing is that you can easily upgrade the memory (up to 32 GB) and SSD.

Great computer! I can play all my games no problem (Call of Duty, for example) and the size of the screen is perfect for my school needs.

Best laptop for gaming. My daughter plays the sims 4 and Roblox and both games run smoothly with high graphics.
