Mouse works when close to router

I had issues with the internet disconnecting when I tried to use it in another room. Unfortunately, I had to return this brand and buy a Logitech brand instead!

I have the extra keyboard, but the touch pad on it isn't all that great. The mouse works just fine with my tablet and you can use it on pretty much any surface, smooth or rough, even your pants leg if you are so inclined.
