The HP X3000 wireless mouse is a good, basic, no-nonsense tool. It is dependable on most surfaces (not good on glass, granite countertops, etc.) and has a good battery life. The nano receiver is small and unobtrusive: I just leave it in my computer when I'm transporting it. Not a lot of bells or frills. The wheel is basic; not my favorite, but it works. All in all, a good choice, especially as a second mouse to leave in my briefcase for when I'm not in my docking station.

I purchased 1 of these from best buy and the family were fighting over it to use on their laptops so I purchased 2 more. They work as described. I am thinking of purchasing 5 more for the PC's

This is an excellent mouse: very responsive, wireless, easy grip operation. I enjoy it very much.

I purchased a very similar HP mouse (model G3T) about a year ago for around $8. Mine does not automatically power-off (just goes into a standby mode which still uses battery). So I turn it off... but whenever I turn it back on it doesn't turn on the first time, so I have to turn it on, then off and back on every time! Other than that, it then works fine. I know it is no huge problem, but it is very annoying... and I would have bought a different mouse if I had known. Don't know if the x3000 has same issue... hence my review title "Beware...".

The mouse is a good price but it didn't even last a month before it quit working properly. The scroll button on the top of the mouse makes the page jump around so much its enough to drive you crazy. I got a different one less than a month after purchasing because it was so horrible.

After a month of use, the mouse has performed without a problem. It is so much more sensitive than my prior wired mouse that it took some time to get used to it.

There's not much that can be said about a mouse since it's mostly about personal preference. This mouse feels good in my hand. The buttons and wheel work well.

This mouse is so responsive, I had to tune down the movement speed setting so that I could be more precise! It is small and lightweight, and it has a very smooth, and intuitive feel while navigating. Thanks for a great product, this goes perfect with my HP laptop.

Very easy to start using. It literally is a plug and play type. The mouse has a comfortable use and of course being cordless is the main love to this product.

Plug and play, works as intended. No issues. I paid $7.99 for it so i can't expect much more. Only issue might be that it is a bit smaller than I like.

It is a great quality and design for the wireless mouse category. I like and have used more Logitech but this one def is good and better in terms of looks:)

Purchased this to help my grandson's 3 and 5 years of age to maneuver ABC on my laptop. This mouse was fast and easy to navigate to complete their assignments.

I have two of these little HP x3000 Wireless Optical Mice now. They are handy for use with a laptop. The on/off button is a great idea. They are about 3.5" by 2.25", so easier to carry around. Maybe too small for comfort for some people. Unfortunately, the second one I purchased seems to be "tippy". It doesn't sit flat - the left front foot is shorter than the others. Feels like it tips when I click. Live too far from a store, so not worthwhile to return or I would exchange it.

Just picked up today. Cant complain much for 8 dollar mouse. deal of day. Works as a mouse should work.

The HP mouse works great and has a terrific feel and response, add to that fast shipping and this was in whole a rare deal. Thanks guys.

Works well, but sometimes seems to react slowly. May be a good choice for people with smaller hands.
