This is the second HP - x3000 Wireless Optical Mouse I've bought in the past couple of months: this one is for my wife. Unlike the other wireless mice I had in the past, the HP - x3000 Wireless Optical Mouse has worked consistently well, and the battery does not die after a couple of months. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The size is too small for me to hold. the scrolling part broke out after using it for few month.

This device started out working fine. Over time I had to change the batteries more often than advertised..It finally stopped working..This is my second HP mouse that I had problems with..

great product work right out the box got 3 one for every laptop i have in my house.

I had to choose between Logitech and Hp mouse they are both wireless and the review looks good for both of them, except that the HP wireless mouse was way cheaper; so i went ahead and bought it. it was an excellent choice, I love it. And i highly recommend it. And work on most surfaces wood, cloths and couch!

Got it on thanksgiving for the best price... Happy with the purchase and this little guy makes my work easier...!

The only real problem I have is the weight. The mouse is so light it's hard to get a smooth track from it if you are heavy handed.

Works as expected nothing negative to say managed to snag this for $8 as the deal of the day. It is tad bit small if you have big hands but works for me when traveling. I use a corded mouse at home.

It worked well for 10 months but during it's 11 month it failed..Yes, tried a new battery and reset....Good news..Best Buy exchanged it for a new one free of charge and with another 12 month warranty...I would recommend Best Buy's service department to a friend....I don't think I'd buy another as a replacement.....

Works very well with my new HP Notebook, good mobility response.

Have purchased several of these over the past year or so and all have worked perfectly. No complaints.

A good option for a mouse, but the back seems a little too difficult to open.

This review is coming from someone who received the mouse as a gift-not someone who purchased it. The mouse works great (considering I didn't pay anything for it). The reason why I gave it a 4 star was because my package was deliberately opened, and the box the mouse came in was damaged. If I had to be picky, I will say that the only thing that really bothered me was how fast the cursor is in default. Also there is no red in the mouse as shown on the picture-the mouse is solid black. I had to manually adjust the settings in my computer to make it acceptable towards my preference. Also, the "clicking" noise of it does drive me a bit nuts-very annoying. My old mouse did not do that. Overall, great mouse (however, the price its selling for is not worth it) purchase it on sale-or how I received it as a gift. I want to add though...this is not a good mouse for gaming. Its acceptable however, if you are serious into gaming I would recommend something a little better. As I said, overall for a free mouse I'll take it.

I bought this for travel and ended up using at home also. It works great for navagating through emails and the web.

Bought this for work when it was a special for the day. It was an excellent value, and works great!

This mouse is light and has body built ergonomically.. I use it with laptop and find very comfortable using it

If you travel - this is a must have.. great simple mouse

It is a great little mouse however it is very small, I have very tiny hands and even I find it uncomfortably small to use for long periods of time. Other than that it is very nice, it set up instantaneously on a mac and it works flawless. If have small hands and you need a nice travel mouse this may fit the bill however I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with larger hands.

I realy like this mouse and I love it is fast and good, I have no problems with it thanks!
