It's described as 4.4 inches depth the reason I replaced my older Logitech M310. It's actually 3.7, the same as a Logitech M325. which is ergonomically troubling for my hand size. I'm returning just for that reason. Albeit, it functions really well.

As other reviewers have stated, this mouse is very small. It measures only 3 5/8" long. And for this reason, I don't think I could ever get comfortable using it (I am a female with average sized hands). I only paid about $3.50 for it, so I think I'll keep it around as a spare. It also feels lightweight and kind of cheap.

This thing is a fantastic piece of garbage. It would not detect on my laptop, so I thought, "maybe it's the device?" Nope. Did not detect on any machine I tried it on. Change out the battery? Nope, no dice. Stand on my head and recite the alphabet? Nada. Travel back in time to capture the Necronomicon from the Deadites and summon an unholy horde of skeletal warriors? Nothing. As it turns out, the USB dongle appears to be faulty, and I can't comprehend a manufacturer selling a wireless product with a faulty dongle. That tells me exactly what HP's quality standards are, I suppose. I'm taking it back for a refund, but I'll admit that if I were just a little farther from best buy I wouldn't bother. Do not buy this mouse. Do not accept it for free. Even if someone were to give you money to take it, you would still come out the loser.

This is just what I was looking for. A simple wireless mouse. Nothing fancy. Does just what I want it to. Looked it up online and went into the store to buy it and it wasn't on sale in the store like it was online. They did price match their online price though so I was happy.

Exchanged with one that lasted 11 months..This new one lasted 9 days before the third wheel became really touchy..In fact possessed...Took the $7.99 credit and upgraded to the house brand...HP should not make cars in the future....

this is a good buy, plug and play, works well with my macbook. My only problem is that it feels a little too small for my hands and the "clicker" seem to be clicking loudly. Other than that its a good mouse to get if you just want something for everyday use that's also portable

I have two of these, and they just keep on working. One I've had for a few years, just bought this second one. Good product, cheap, no need for expensive gaming mouse, so this is a good option for me. Reliability has been proven out.

easy to use works perfect so hands on when I am not near my laptop and I can have this little mouse and move around instead of glued to the laptop or desktop it is so much get on the couch an lay there relaxed :D

I am a mouse destroyer, I always manage to drop them on an uncarpeted floor. This hp mouse lasts longer than all other brands I have used. I will continue to buy this product. It takes a licking and keeps on clicking.

Worked for about four months. Month five continuously restarting USB; removing/replacing battery; healthy whacks on the desk. Month six: RIP..Probably not a bESTbUY...

This is a nice mouse but it is too small for me -- and I am a small guy. This is more fit for teens or ladies with small hands. This will strain your hand under continued use. Try other bigger mice out there.

At about 3 and 3/4 inches long, it's a little small to be comfortable in my hand, but the gentle "click feel" of the rotating wheel, and the modest pressure required to click the buttons, is quite good.

This is a great mouse for the price. I am very surprised that the quality is so good for the price I paid. I am using it on a 2010 MacBook Pro 15"

I ordered two of these mouses a while back when they were on sale for the business I run out of my house. Since then one of the mouses is still in use and the other one is probably lying around in my junk parts storage somewhere. They work okay but there is nothing particularly special about them that would make me have to absolutely need the mouse. You are paying like $5 for a mouse that is wireless. You can't be expecting a whole lot. For a cheap item to get by with this product meets my business needs for my dad (I have a razor mouse now so I just use that daily )

This is my first mouse for my first computer, and installation was a snap. It is so much easier to use than the pad on my laptop. I am completely satisfied with my purchase!

This is my first wireless mouse. Small and very easy to manipulate. Set up was no problem. For the price it a definite buy. Highly recommend.

This is a good little wireless mouse. It gets the job done, but sometimes it does cause my hand to cramp up because of how small it is.

The HP wireless mouse is a good value and a great price. The plug and play ability is perfect even for using with a BIOS with mouse capabilities before booting into Windows first. The DPI could be a bit better and the pointer seems to miss the mark on several occasions.
