Great Camera

Does not Connect to Phone/App
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this on 11/30 and wanted to try it out right away. Charged it and installed the app. Followed the app instructions to connect the RE camera to my Galaxy Note 2. Will not connect, getting Troubleshooting error code b1. Looked online and found many others having similar issues. Called HTC and discovered just how poor their customer support is. One rep hung up on me when I explained problem. Second rep had me resetting the camera and other basic troubleshooting, but nothing he told me to do worked. He had NO idea what the "Troubleshooting error code: b1" meant, even though that was the message coming from the HTC product. He told me a second level support person would call me in 24-48 hours. At 72 hours, I called them and discovered that there is no record of my first call. Started this whole painful process over, and now was told 24-72 hours for a call back. I have a ticket number this time, so maybe something will happen. As far as the camera itself, I have no idea if it is amazing or total junk, since the app is necessary to really be able to use it. At this time, I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this.

Easy to use, but disapointing

Was hoping that this camera will add more quality to my HTC One M8. I was wrong! The pictures are deformed, pixelated and rare can you take a decent shot. I wouldn't recommend this for 99 dollars, let alone for 199. Waste of money.

Fail for htc
