Very convenient to use... Takes great pictures... Never have to worry about not being in the picture and the background you're trying to take

This unit is great, it takes pictures great, the transfer ability is good. It worked with 6 of my 7 devices. Still trying to figure that one out, may be related to the faCT it is a wifi only device. Not sure. Over all a good unit.

This is a very small and easy to use camera. It takes wide angle shots, records well picks up great audio. The downside is that you have to connect to the camera's wifi to use the app with an iPhone, so that's a bit frustrating since it doesn't just auto connect with bluetooth.

Your money is better spent on a GoPro. My list of issues; 1) inadequate manual. The manual is literally a few sentences long. No description of battery life, camera resolution or anything other than the buttons and one of the two lights. You have to search online for answers to questions. 2) The 8 gig SD card it comes with is too small. You will fill it completely with just a few minutes of video. a 64 gb card will get you 5-6 hours. 3) I bought this for an inexpensive car camera. The dash mounting options are literally non-existent. I ended up buying a suction cup window mount and I have to mount to the side window due to the camera height. 4) The height of the camera adds too much 'wiggle' to anything you mount it to that moves, including yourself. The resultant video ends up blurred slightly. Worse yet the edges of the video seems to have a wobble to it that isn't seen in the center. Almost enough to make feel sick to your stomach if you try to focus on it and I don't get motion sick. 5) there is absolutely no way to adjust the units settings unless you own an Android or Apple phone. There is no software to install on you PC to access them. I have a Windows PC and Windows phone. I can't even set the time on the Camera. There should at least be a PC based app to adjust the settings. 6) The thing takes pictures at the slightest touch, be prepared to delete dozens of unwanted photos from the unit continuously. 7) I have been completely unable to get the unit to do any Slow Motion video. The front button appears to not work as expected.

I've used this to film my son in the water park, video quality was superb! I'd get another one!

Good quality pictures and good video for the media

I wanted something small and easy to use and not so expensive and the HTC RE is great. I took on vacation and it work great underwater and normal pictures and the quality of the pictures are very good too.

The HTC Re is a great little camera for parties and such. However at $199 it's a bit much, I got it on sale for $99 which is definitely worth the price.

I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price for a GoPro. HTC's RE was an alternative I hadn't considered before. After devising an acceptable windshield mount, I was pleasantly surprised at the results. The only drawback is that the power connection (and the microSD slot) is covered by the mount, and recording can only be accomplished using the battery.

What one needs to know, is that you must have the proper device to download the app that makes this work. A smart phone, ipad, laptop and a mac do not work with this. Even though made by HTC, my smart phone by HTC was not compatible! Why?

The thing that is wrong is that it will randomly turn off and never turn on again. I have returned the camera three times. But i continue getting a new one because of how good it is.

I bought this for my granddaughter to use on our trip to an indoor water park in Oklahome!! Pictures and videos turned out great!!

This camara takes great video and pictures. The shape is odd but it works great. Good queality pictures and video and you can connected with your cellphone to take and see pictures

Not anywhete near as advanced as a Go Pro, but it's not meant to be. My kids can use it and love the fact that it is waterproof. Great picture quality also.

This is possibly my favorite electronic purchase of 2014. This little camera carries a lot of happy energy. I found myself taking more pictures than any other time if my life. Its really cool for taking group selfies (with plenty of light). Does video and time lapse. Total fun. On the down side. I am on my third camera. The first two just stopped working. I am not sure if my Samsung micro sd card is arguing with it or if it is caused by its habit of taking pictures and video of my pocket. Really wish it had an on-off button. Additionally, I also picked up the charging stand from HTC, which I recommend.

Love the simplicity placed in this camera. I just take it out of my pocket and can snap pics instantly. Love the easy wireless transfer to my phone via the Re app.

Read all reviews and even went further as to looking up videos on YouTube. Was curious how the under water recording looked. Was impressed by the HD quality and was happy I got it on sale. One and only down side is knowing when it's recording, takes a little practice to get used to, and tough to see the red blinking light when it's actually recording. Overall I give it a 4 star out of five.
