Not a good phone. Would not send or receive pictures no matter what was attempted to fix the problem.

The hardware was OK. Te software after 4 major updates was hardly worth writing about. The HTC add-ons that mimics the Windows Phone 8 interface was worthless and the rest was typical Android 2009 . Last update broke my MS Exchange email account contact list. Ended up returning and buying a Nokia 830.

Had problems with the phone from the get go. When you took pictures it would stretch people's heads and make them look like aliens. The phone would freeze up. The battery was horrible. Took it back to best buy and returned it and got the s4. This phone in my opinion is really poor.

The perfect phone, save for one little detail

Grab this phone if you can, now that it's about to be retired in favor of the M8 and M9. The size is perfect (nowhere near phablet dimensions), the screen is far superior to Samsung's AMOLED panels, the 2 GB ram keeps browsing and loading times to a minimum, and the speakers are the best you'll ever hear on a cellphone. The only issue is the lack of a dedicated recent apps key, but a software update sort of fixed the issue by allowing you to quickly tap Home twice in order to see your open apps. No SD card expansion, but 32 GB onboard memory is more than enough. Camera lovers might be a bit disappointed by the Ultrapixel lens, but the camera is certainly serviceable for regular use. If you want an expert smartphone camera, the model to get is the Lumia 1020, if you can stand the older hardware and the Windows OS.

Picked this phone up a few months ago. I was thinking about getting the M8 but after researching the M7 was pretty close to the 8 in most areas and was cheaper. I Like most all about the phone... key board is not best IMO, but could always change that I think for something else. Over all the phone is great. Best Buy is my favorite place to buy cell phones. They are great, the phone cost me $0 and I got a $100 gift card for upgrading it!! Very low stress upgrade. My GF who always went to the ATT store for upgrades took my advice and got her new IPhone 6 at BB and was totally happy on how smooth, quick and low stress the whole process was.

nice phone top notch build quality

The build quality of this phone is just awesome! Even though its a generation old now, its the best value for money phone at this price. BestBuy had shipped me an open box instead of a new, but they were very helpful in resolving the case. Pros: Screen resolution, build, pretty snappy Cons: purple/pink tint issue in the camera module reported by many users.

Great phone for anyone that wants an Android

I have had this phone for about 5 months and it has been great. The build quality is outstanding, the screen is great (scratch resistant, bright, and great resolution), and the sense overlay is pretty good. I had an iPhone 4 prior to this phone, and I would have purchased another iPhone, but I really wanted a larger screen than the 4" offering on the iPhone 5 (but not too large). This screen seems very large coming from a 3.5" screen, but the phone is well designed and comfortable in the hand. The blink feed feature is a good time waster when you have a few minutes to kill. Android has come a long way since my last device with this operating system (a gingerbread powered tablet). The battery life is pretty good, with light use I can make it through two days without recharging. This is slightly lower than my iPhone 4, but I charge every night, so this isn't a concern. The camera is pretty good, but it seems to be one update away from being truly great (an update is available, but that hasn't been made available by AT&T). Pictures are good on the phone screen, and the lager pixels do make low light photography better, but obviously large prints are not as smooth with a 4MP camera (something I don't do, so it isn't a problem). The front facing speakers do help with audio or game play. Great sound from such a small speaker. Overall this is a great, well constructed phone that is a true iPhone alternative, especially for those that want a larger screen. When Apple releases a larger iPhone, I may go back, but if HTC keeps producing winners, I may own another one.

    Excellent phone

I love everything about this phone except one thing. The ability to forward via mms or email video's. They literally can only be 3 seconds long. Its the most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered. With the iPhone having such great video quality and the ability to send and receive videos of length...this is a dumb move HTC. One more bad thing...I run, and use the NIKE app and listen to my music. You cannot what so ever with ANY ear buds even the Beats forward your tracks or use your volume up and down on your ear buds. Also a big thing that iPhone has allows. Fix these two issues and the phone is PERFECT. Great looks and feels amazing. Battery life could be a bit better too, but hey, its like a computer...

Found this as a good replacement phone for the lumia 920 which had a cracked screen. Bought it for $150 which was a bargain.

Good Phone But Be Careful of Description

Like many others, I bought a new phone but ended up with an open box phone. Since its out of stock, they BBY only solution is a return. Please describe the item as open box in the description in the future. The phone has the well documented purple tint issue in low light conditions but otherwise the phone quality is good.

It is the best phone I have ever had. It feels great in the hand, the sound on it is fantastic and the screen is the one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. There really isn't anything wrong with this phone.

Hi I placed an order for a brand new phone and received an opened/used phone with used headphones. I ordered this phone as a gift and I am really disappointed.. Looks like I am not the only one got an opened HTC One M7, bad quality control :( And on top of that your customer care just refused to help.

My HTC quit taking a charge at less than a year old. It was under warranty so I contacted HTC. For a fee of $30 and a hold on my charge of $599 they were supposed to send a replacement overnight. It has now been 3 weeks and numerous phone calls and still no phone. I will stick with Apple from now on.
