At last, a great movie, enhanced by 3D, not made to show off 3D! This movie is charming in every way. The cinimatography is transforming and the music (and sound) illuminate the journey.

This is a fabulous movie for the family and for film buffs interested in the history of cinema, bringing together the fictional story of an orphan and the real story of one of cinema's earliest pioneers.

This is a great movie, probably one of the best of last year. If you enjoy movies about great characters in an interesting location you will enjoy this.

You know you are a fantastic director when you can make all types of movies (kids, thrillers, dramas) and they are all amazing. A movie I can watch over and over again

This is a good movie, and story however the 3D bluray version is the best 3D I think i've seen yet!

...because as a rental without the 3D it was very slow for the first half and then during the second half it was just slow. My wife and I kept saying what was the reason this was such a talked about movie and why did it win awards. On the plus side if you like watching movies and the batteries on your DVD player need replacing, no problem you don't need a pause button for this movie. You can take bathroom breaks, go to the kitchen and even have a conversation or two without missing anything in the movie. Sometimes a movie affects you and keeps you thinking well afer the movie ended. This movie was like that, today both my wife and I said, "How could that movie win Academy Awards?" and "What did we miss?".
