This has to be the most exciting, spell binding, riviting movie I have seen in years. The acting is absolutely superb. Gerald Butler is the only actor I can think of who could perform such a role and be so believable. The twists and turns in the story are so sneaky that you find your sitting there with you mouth open going "What". A top notch film everybody should see.

The movie is good in most aspects. Although I like Gary Oldman in most of his movies, he plays his part more like a scared Junior Officer than a seasoned and reasoning CJCS.

This movie had a very good plot , very well directed and featured and some top tier cast members. The picture quality and sound on the 4K blu ray disc was impressive in the Dolby Atmos /Dolby vision format . Over-all it's a great addition to any movie collection.

I really appreciated this movie. I enjoy submarine movies although some may not share the same opinion. The storyline is good and in places has some suspense, other places not so much. Some of the storylines and plots can be a bit reaching but overall not a bad movie. Picture quality is good! I enjoy the movie

Excellent production values. Solid performances by the cast. Work was done to get the details right but was a bit unrealistic at times. The bonus features are nice, but could be greatly improved by providing more insight into how the movie was made rather than just audio commentary with brief video.

I was so excited for this movie to come out. Even though I had heard so many bad things about it. Well, they were right. It bombed and I was truly let down.

It wasn't so bad that I wanted to turn it off, but there was a whole LOT to make fun of throughout the movie. One thing that was funny was in the extras where they talked about wanting to make it as "real" as possible, trying to get all the painstaking details correct, but then they did things like, maneuvering the sub through a mine-filled canyon missing the walls and mines by mere inches, scraping the ocean floor TWICE, the ever-predictable water pipes bursting everywhere as they approach hull-crush depth. They tried to get some of the "Crimson Tide" vibe between the Caption and the Executive Officer by having the XO loudly contradict the Captain throughout their ENTIRE mission. I'm sorry but that is not getting the details about the navy correct. That XO would have been confined to quarters or placed under arrest for his constant mouthing off. That is only a couple brief examples of how unrealistic it was, to say nothing of the basic plot which is a mission to kidnap the Russian President during a coup, just to keep him safe. All that aside, I was entertained. Just don't go in thinking this is going to be one of the "great" submarine movies, because it's just not.

Not the best movie of gerald butler.. however, the performance were great, the story was pretty good but the science effects kill the movie

The audio and video in this 4k movie is good. The story can be a bit slow at times. If you like the hunt for red october, i'd recommend this.

Hunter Killer is your traiditional miilitary movie involving submarines. The movie has a slow start, but gets better over time. Wasn't thrilled!

What A Fantastic film, both the story and the acting were great. The color and detail of the film were unbelievable. My whole family enjoyed this film. The Cast were fantastic and the action scenes came alive on the screen. Truly on of the most enjoyable films of the year, a must for the action movie fan.

Love the movie and this steelbook version. The artwork is really nice throughout. We get the whole package, 4K UHD/Blu-ray/Digital Copy. The movie was really good with Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. It's a thriller about a rogue group of Russians that want to start WWIII. Good action and drama. Picture and sound are outstanding.

If you're into submarine movies, you should buy this one. Action throughout the whole movie. From land to see, this movie will have you glued to your seat. By far the best submarine movie I have seen yet. Advanced technology in weapons used for this one. Great!

Good movie I’ve never seen this listed in any theater. However many of these made by the studio as I’m finding out go right to purchasing. I’m glad I bought it all in all a good movie. A lot of excitement pretty good effects. Some of the acting at times was a little cheesy. But the main actors did OK. Had a good ending.

Nice entertainment if you enjoy these sort of movies. If you are looking for a more cerebral adventure, this one might not be for you.

KooL submariner movie, Gerrard Butler does a Awesome job as playing a No Nonsense Captain of a submarine that is thrust into action because of a coup in Russia, Common plays his part Well as a General with the Joint Chief of Staff who chose Joe Glass (Butler) for the job, nice action and suspense

When we saw Hunter Killer in the theatres, we knew before it was over that we wanted to buy it to add to our collection. They don't make many movies like this anymore. Good classic military film with top rate actors and a great story. The blu ray dvd digital pack was definitely the best deal. Very happy with our purchase.

I really enjoyed this 4K Ultra HD movie. It demonstrated a great balance of drama and action. Additionally, the package also included the 4K disc, blu-ray disc, as well as a digital copy of the movie.

Very good movie with decent amount of action. My favorite submarine movie since Hunt for Red October. Good Dolby Atmos soundtrack and film transfer, a nice add to my movie collection.
