Expensive but worth it! I never thought I was going to be a virtual workout class type person, but they do a great jobZ. The athletes are incredible, really help walk you through how to row... and the hydrow itself is super intuitive and easy to use.

Excellent rower! Very smooth. We Love the video workout instruction. The trainers are very motivating They make you feel like you are there with them. Would recommend to anyone looking for that extra motivation

I have never really been an exercise guy but once I read that this one machine covers 86% of the muscles used, I thought I’d try it. I really don’t know why I waited so long until trying it because it is as good as advertised. It’s actually fun to do the rows along with these instructors helping do you stay on track… who are quite good btw. So I highly recommend it to anybody actually of any age because it’s not strenuous, you can actually move along at your own pace and you get some decent cardio in. It’s only been 20 days views and my wife is already complementing me on everything from posture to losing belly fat. I couldn’t be happier

Delivery was much quicker through Best Buy than direct through Hydrow. I love this machine. It’s hefty and runs smooth. I paid for setup since it was going in the basement. Best Buy took their time and care on getting it down there and setting it up.

Great Machine, worth every penny, if your into fitness. Content and trainers are great. just know subscription is kinda expensive though. Bought from BB because of time to deliver compared to manufacturer.

High quality, you get what you pay for; Hydrow itself is great; instructors are excellent, tons of workout options AND floor work options; screen is excellent. And this is from someone who haaaates to workout.

Well built machine and lots of good videos to row along to. I haven’t done any of the ‘live’ classes, but even the ones that have been previously recorded are really good and it’s easy to get competitive with the other rowers on the leaderboard. Great workout.

Everything advertised and more. Fun and engaging. Almost addictive. Solid, well-built. Very quiet (when used with headphones). Best Buy / Geek Squad install well worth it. Very heavy and they take all packing materials away with them.

Have used for two years now. With regular use no signs of wear, have had no problems accessing trading programs, and no trouble with the machine. Great workout.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday..... he's not one to workout at all. But I noticed he had his eye on this machine. He uses it daily. Best investment ever!!

This is a review of the Best Buy purchasing process and delivery NOT of the Hydrow itself. I love mine, there are plenty of reviews online both written and YouTube about it. I decided to use Best Buy over Hydrow directly since Best Buy had this in stock and Hydrow was 6 weeks out and for the rewards through BB. My first order was a mess I was going to have Best Buy install it and they kept giving me errors for delivery dates and kept rescheduling. I switched to just delivering it and then I would put it together. Which is what I’d recommend you need two people but it’s pretty simple it’s just the screen and front support bar. Hydrow gives you everything you need and has a good video on YouTube walking you through it. It was pretty easy for my dad and I, but I wouldn’t recommend it for one person. Also be sure to have Best Buy put it where you want it since in the box it weighs close to 200 lbs no way we could have got it upstairs. Best Buy’s delivery drivers showed up on time did a nice job and wore masks. So BB was a pain about installation but once I switched to just delivery everything went perfectly.

Set up requires 2 people.... Once its put together and powered up.... you will have to link it up to your home WiFi or hard wire it to your router.... it will do a software update.... then you create a personal profile.... now you are almost ready to row.... BUT .... here is the catch.... you have to join up for a monthly membership of $38.00 per month for all the pretty water rowing video challenges.... otherwise all you get to do is a 15min row offline.... I plan on joining January 1 2020 .... BUT .... buyer beware....

Really enjoy this machine. It has helped change my life. Definitely recommend it!!!

This is as beautiful as I hoped would be. I don't have it mastered yet but I am looking forward to it.

I'm a couple weeks in with Hydrow. So far, so good. It's really well built and incredibly sturdy. (I guess the first workout is getting this thing into your home!) As some have mentioned, the package is massive - about 7-feet long. It wouldn't fit in my SUV so I had to rent a truck to do store pick-up on it. The video/subscription content is decent. At this point, I sort of alternate between listening to the instructors and the television in our little home work-out room. The screen is great and the audio quality is serviceable from the unit. I had no problems hooking up my heart rate monitor via Bluetooth and the foot straps are easily adjustable. Overall, it's been nice to be able to get a quick, 15-20 minute row in at home on days when I either need a break from other activities or don't have time.

The reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because there are extremely few live classes (maybe two a day). The classes are also extremely dull. Constantly saying “you’re doing great”. How do they know I’m doing great ? They rarely call out your screen name. Only if you’ve accomplished like 250,000 meters or more and very rare. I just thought there would be a lot of live classes (like throughout the day). Two is nothing snd if you miss the two they have then you’re out of luck and have to wait. It’s not enough. It’s also hard to understand where you stand on the Leaderboard. Nobody explains how you’re doing vs everyone else on the live leaderboard. The device works and is great but the content is yawwwn with very over the top phony type coaches who are way too talkative and nobody is that happy. I mean I like the athletes who keep it down to earth but know how to motivate you from a sincere place. This would be great if there were lots more live classes.

I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price, but really wanted a new form of exercise. I can truly say it motivates to work out. I can’t say if it’s the actual rowing or if it’s not letting the money go to waste, but I can say I enjoy the exercise, I look forward to it and when I’m done I don’t even feel like I’ve worked out (maybe because I was sitting the whole time?). My one complaint is I wish there were more workouts to choose from and they would change up the locations. I’ve learned the houses and graffiti line of the various waterways they use. A change would be nice. Overall, I would highly recommend it to everyone and it was worth the money.

The Hydrow is very easy to use and the online training programs make the whole experience much more enjoyable and rewarding.
