Good by Not Right for My Purcase

The salesperson should have known but I take responsibility for not looking at the details. I was concerned that using it without the support post would create a torque that could damage the USB-C port. Returned for a different adapter. Best Buy did it just right on that.

Not a good match for MacBook Air

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The docking station covers both existing ports on the MacBook so you have to use the remaining USB-C port on the docking station for the power supply and can't use it for a USB-C to HDMI. The audio plug is useless on the docking station because the audio jack is on the opposite side of the MacBook. As such the unit is only supported by the single USB-C port and will eventually become loose and floppy. Should have bought a more expensive Apple product.

I will do some or most of my Holiday shopping at Best Buy . My daughters are older and I will probably purchase gift cards or give them cash and they can come to Best Buy and purchase whatever they like.

Do not get this if you have a case

You could find a cheaper alternative on amazon/ebay. But it does work well and has no issues.
