I like the additional ports to connect other items, like my mouse fob.

USB C connector

Another issue was very loose connection with laptop while at the same time very difficult to disconnect usb connection on other side of hub which In evidently makes connection to laptop very unstable.

Gets the job done

My only real complaint is that it seems a little loose since it is only being held in by the USB C port (Since my macbook does not have the headphone jack on the left side, and that is where I connect this.)

Not enough ports

It only has one USB-C port and could use another. It cannot handle a CAT 5 for ethernet. It runs hot and causes issues with the HDMI connection.
