    I back up all my data on a portable storage device. Without this adapter I wouldn't be able to do this. I can charge my computer at the same time.

    With the new MacBook Pro, there are NO USB ports. So if you have anything USB, like a mouse, you need this. Plus then it also comes with an HDMI port where you can hook up another monitor. Pricey, but pretty much needed.

    Great to have and something your going to need if you get any of the latest macbook pros on the market being that the mac laptops dont cone with hdmi out usb connecters or micro sd or reg sd card reader.

    This HyperDrive is a great addition to the MacAir or MacPro. It adds 2 USB ports and a USB-C port as well as 2 other ports. It comes in the color of your computer.

    I got this on sale so price was awesome for what you get. Unfortunately I have hp folio so it doesn’t set flush with the leather body had to return it but I recommend it if you use Mac
