    I bought this for my work lap top (Dell). This unit requires a driver download/install, I ended up buying a cheaper one from Amazon that was just plug-n-play.

    The new 7 port hub is really a must in every new laptop with a C-port, is necessary and the ports are really useful, specially the 4K HDMI port and the memory slots.
