    This is a great multi use hub for my Apple Mac. A must since The Apple computers are not very flexible for use of USB or SD cards.

    My Macbook has the 2 usb-c ports side by side. This item has one usb-c plug that has to support all the bending and twisting. I would suggest getting to 2-plug edition as it is better supported.

    Did I want to spend $80 on this? No, but I did it and worked ok for a few months, not always sitting flush with my MacBook Air, but it worked as long as I pushed it in all the way. I had it unplugged from my laptop one day and accidentally dropped it maybe 3 feet. The short drop left a very small dent in the corner, there is something now rattling in there, and the usb-c port is now so ever so slightly off center and will not allow me to plug in my usb-cord. For the $80 I spent on it, that small of a drop shouldn’t have done as much damage as it has.
