It was great at first but it gets very hot all the time and it is very laggy when using the hdmi. I tried to watch a movie but the voices don’t sync up and the picture like jolts around. Do not buy this product if you want quality.

Stupid design and too expensive

Besides being stupid it only puts money into their pockets without considering the needs of the user. The device fits on the left-hand side of the computer and I am left-handed. My hand is always knocking it and then it loses connection. Stupid!

Not very compatible with Apple

To fix the problem I had to switch to a Belkin USB-C hub which works great.

It would have been much better if the hub was connected by a short cable.

Pretty shaky and can't use with a case

My bottom part of my case got in the way, and it was not working well. Lastly it is kinda shaky, and I wouldn't trust it to keep my USB connected while I work. I need to return this, unfortunately.

Best Buy messed up & no instructions

Returned it to Best Buy for an Apple unit instead. Turns out in order to use it, there was supposed to be technology downloaded from the internet to make it work, per the Best Buy tech from which I bought the Apple unit. The initial Best Buy tech that I bought it from said it would work for my Mac M1 laptop, but he did not mention downloading anything, nor did the instructions that came with this unit (actually, there were no instructions at all that came with it). Blaming it on the 1st Best Buy tech not knowing the product he recommended.

Docking station

Mine had a port that was not functioning and it was returned and exchanged for the model that has a support bar.
