The shape of this adapter blocks other ports on laptop. Needs to be redesigned.

Doesn't fit properly if you have a case on MacBook, Can't get the HDMI to work with TV

It would randomly eject my hard drive. This is not worth potential data loss and corruption.

It cuts off my macs internet when the HDMI is plugged in. Garbage.

Works great, but does not stay on the laptop very well.

The weight of it Keeps disconnecting from the port. Bad design.

connectors would not hold steady so the slightest bump and whatever was connected failed

Worked ok at first but now when I attach to my laptop and close the lid to display on my external monitor, the screen flickers. I have to remove the hub a few times until it stops flickering. Bought something new to try.

WORST PURCHASE EVER NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MAC PCS BECAUSE THE PORT DOES NOT STAY IN THE INPUT OF THE PC.

For starters, when plugged in, you immediately notice it's not secure in place (easily moves up and down, loses connection constantly) and worst of all, after trying to use it for transferring files, it continually caused my control panel to freeze when trying to access the files. Very disappointed for the price point, and will be returning.

This hub came recommended by a BB employee with purchase of a new MacBook. I also got a speck case & the hub for work purposes. First thing I did when I got home was put my new MacBook in the case & attach the hub. Its designed to sit flush against the side, which it won't do with a case on. Whenever I need to work, I have to remove the bottom portion of the case just to use it. Be careful disconnecting the ports, they fit so snug, it pulls the hub out at an angle from the laptop. Sometimes it pulls out completely from the laptop because the usb-c ports are so tiny & it puts strain on the logic board, even when trying to hold it securely to prevent it from doing that. My last issue is that sometimes with heavy use it does get hot. I use the hdmi, usb-c & both USB ports simultaneously. At times, I could even use a third USB port. Whether or not you use a case on your laptop, I highly recommend finding a hub that doesn't get hot or put a strain on your logic board, preferably with a cable connection if you decide you want to use a case.

Great product however it’s rather expensive for its functions. Would generally recommend a cheaper adapter.

I paid after-tax $87.39 For this product in-store. because I didn’t want to wait and order it offline somewhere but highly recommend to order or get one somewhere else there’s far more better and cheaper options That work perfect. Not to mention my MacBook which is what I got to use it on doesn’t even have a usbc port so I took it back
