It’s strange that this adapter gets so hot. I contacted Best Buy and they tried to tell me it does not have moving parts so not possible to get hot but warm is probably normal. Well forget that, this thing is capable of burning skin! Yes it does work but it’s heat up to a “stove burning” hot! Since this is an adapter that is needed to use my old accessories, I’m not sure what’s the solution. So if you have no other solution of attaching your old accessories then I recommend this one.

I have tried so many Amazon extensions to be able to connect different peripherals to my MacBook Pro and all of them were too out there and did not look part of my machine. This dock matches perfectly with my machine and looks as if it is part of it. Works very well and it's transfer speeds are great! Definitely, recommend.

Super easy to use and set up to work with macbook air and any monitor of choice, also great for adding regular usb input to macbook air.

Could be a little bit more stable when plugged in but it does it’s job. Pass through charging is nice and data rates stay high.

This adapter is perfect. It has everything I need. I really like how it has TWO USB-C and TWO regular USB ports, since most other adapters I found only have one. But I think my favorite part about this adapter is that it has an HDMI port. I haven't found any other adapter with an HDMI port included with all of the other ports. Overall great product.

This little device was the answer to my new computer issues. I am not able to have ports for flash drives, and a cd players with ports to spare. and the price was very reasonable. The best buy person who helped me was wonderful as well!

Mmh it’s alright, useful for apple laptops forsure

This is an awesome investment! I went from a 2015 MacBook that had all of the USB A Adapters and I was really excited about it having everything in a specific place. I was a little bummed when I went to the USB-C Ports, but this has made it a really easy transition!

The picture shows a pin for the headphone jack but mine does not have one and is not supposed to because it's for an iPad. One could probably use it on devices with a headphone jack. I was concerned without a stabilizer it would wobble a lot but surprisingly it does not. The other version I had (and returned) stopped charging after a month but this one has lasted-- so far.

Does the trick but is a little flimsy. Doesn't feel real secure when it's plugged into the computer but does what it is supposed to.

Provides the full range of HDMI and USB ports plus SD adaptor that I need. The only downside is that initially it is a difficult fit, but now it seems to snap in easily.

I purchased this usb hub because, I have multiple items to connect and use all at once. I mainly use it for my usb and my hdmi for my tv. It does the job and have no complaints.

I wish this was a little more stable on a MacBook. It had an odd pin that’s supposed to go in a headphone Jack but doesn’t line up right at all.

I really now Apple is trying to get over on the customers with these new upgrades. 80 for this little addition but oh well at least it works

Works well with pcs and very easy to setup. Very compact.

If you're looking for a few more ports this is the product for you. I would recommend getting an extension cable so that you don't block your other ports

Got this drive for my daughter's macbook. The connection isn't as tight a fit as she and I would like, but ultimately it gets the job done.

it is a bit temperamental, and I think that is because the way it connects to the MacBook, however once it's connected, seems to work well with usb drives, etc.

Use it on my Macbook Air. Works to add ports. A little flimsy at times with slipping out, but does the job
