Brings back functionality to my MacBook Pro. Allows for charging and the use of another device. Only drawback is the fit is as not as snug as I’d like it

Interesting design. The stabilizing bar did not work for me- I’m using a MacBook Pro 16” for reference. The design covers the input holes on the left side of the keyboard so it covers your magnetic input for the power cord. However, you can use a usb c one to power the unit too so it’s not that big of a deal. But….. the stabilizing bar…. It needs to be functional. If I’m going to buy a new power cord to be able to use this thing then the stabilizer bar needs to fit properly because the unit wobbles without it. It works but it would get 5 stars if it was perfect.

If you have a case on your MacBook this may not plug directly into the laptop. However, it can with an adapter cable that made it work perfectly.

I bought it last year along with my apple laptop, it's slim and tiny and works very well with apple lap tops. Helpful to connect extra gadgets.

So, I'm not very tech saavy -- BUT ... I bought this thinking I was and it turns out I use it daily. I had zero idea that I would need this little thingy as much as I do. It's super easy to insert and the software that goes with it automatically installs and saves. Super easy for a gal like me that knows enough to just be more confused!

Needed ports. Only way to add HDMI and card reader in one unit. Not a secure connection, bulky but if you must have a card reader and HDMI it gets the job done

This is a pretty convenient product. I thought it works very well for the price. It comes with a usb-c extender which is about three inches.

Excellent hub works without a hitch. a bit pricey. Magnetic strip helps a lot to keep a good connection, No problem recommending the device.

Great attachment for my MacBook Pro. I purchased it to attach hard drives, HDMI to my 2nd monitor and to copy my SD Cards. Works great, no issues.

I know, I know, I know. This is the SECOND one of these I've bought from Best Buy. The first one was recommended by a SKILLED BB employee who called my attention to it for my new Mac Pro Laptop and if YOU do not know its value then "go ask" (it charges the laptop and expands access ports). It makes the laptop WIDER and more vulnerable but the device is useful nonetheless. After moving to Florida, I could find the fist one (even tho I know I packed it carefully where I could find it again, mmm, could it be I buy a LOT of "stuff" from Best Buy?)

Functionally, all ports work as advertised, no compatibility issues there. The black plastic bracket, meant to hold it more securely against the Macbook has a bottom lip that prevents the connectors from fully getting inserted into the new Apple Silicon Macbook Pros’ USB-C ports, (they have a somewhat thicker side). It still works fine without the bracket, but now you are stuck with a gap between the hub and laptop side, and presumably less secure attachment to the laptop. The bracket wotks as intended with Intel Macbook Pros.
