The stabilizing bar did not work for me- I’m using a MacBook Pro 16” for reference. The design covers the input holes on the left side of the keyboard so it covers your magnetic input for the power cord. However, you can use a usb c one to power the unit too so it’s not that big of a deal. But….. the stabilizing bar…. It needs to be functional. If I’m going to buy a new power cord to be able to use this thing then the stabilizer bar needs to fit properly because the unit wobbles without it. It works but it would get 5 stars if it was perfect.

Dual USB for doing more on your MBP

This is the SECOND one of these I've bought from Best Buy. The first one was recommended by a SKILLED BB employee who called my attention to it for my new Mac Pro Laptop and if YOU do not know its value then "go ask" (it charges the laptop and expands access ports). It makes the laptop WIDER and more vulnerable but the device is useful nonetheless. After moving to Florida, I could find the fist one (even tho I know I packed it carefully where I could find it again, mmm, could it be I buy a LOT of "stuff" from Best Buy?)

Expand you new USB C Mac!

I bought this thinking I was and it turns out I use it daily. I had zero idea that I would need this little thingy as much as I do. It's super easy to insert and the software that goes with it automatically installs and saves. Super easy for a gal like me that knows enough to just be more confused!
