I bought it last year along with my apple laptop, it's slim and tiny and works very well with apple lap tops. Helpful to connect extra gadgets.

Needed ports. Only way to add HDMI and card reader in one unit. Not a secure connection, bulky but if you must have a card reader and HDMI it gets the job done

This is a pretty convenient product. I thought it works very well for the price. It comes with a usb-c extender which is about three inches.

Pros: Very small. Does the job! Cons: Blocks power cord when attached.

Great attachment for my MacBook Pro. I purchased it to attach hard drives, HDMI to my 2nd monitor and to copy my SD Cards. Works great, no issues.

I know, I know, I know. This is the SECOND one of these I've bought from Best Buy. The first one was recommended by a SKILLED BB employee who called my attention to it for my new Mac Pro Laptop and if YOU do not know its value then "go ask" (it charges the laptop and expands access ports). It makes the laptop WIDER and more vulnerable but the device is useful nonetheless. After moving to Florida, I could find the fist one (even tho I know I packed it carefully where I could find it again, mmm, could it be I buy a LOT of "stuff" from Best Buy?)

This works great with the new usb c apple products. Not sure why they don't have these ports, but this allows your laptop to have more functionality.

Interesting design. The stabilizing bar did not work for me- I’m using a MacBook Pro 16” for reference. The design covers the input holes on the left side of the keyboard so it covers your magnetic input for the power cord. However, you can use a usb c one to power the unit too so it’s not that big of a deal. But….. the stabilizing bar…. It needs to be functional. If I’m going to buy a new power cord to be able to use this thing then the stabilizer bar needs to fit properly because the unit wobbles without it. It works but it would get 5 stars if it was perfect.

This is an excellent adapter for all the older usb, hdmi, and sd card ports. It come with a small pouch to keep it organized when not being used.

The the easy use of this. Do miss the new MacBook having these outlets on the computer itself. Since they don’t I would highly recommend this.

This adapter allows me to back up my Macbook Air to an external hard drive easily.

Purchased this for my MacBook Air because it only has “C” plugs and I was needing More than one USB plug with the single adapter. Great purchase.

Has everything I was looking for but the only thing that bugged me was that the black little magnet strip wouldn’t let my Mac close down all the way and didn’t want to remove it on daily basis.
