It works, but it has a delay and produces a concerning amount of heat. Also, the macbook won't close correctly with this dock. Seriously, spend $5 more and get the corded model.

I was looking for a way to increase my options to use usb and sd drive and I found my solution. I am thrilled with the HyperDrive and have been able to add a web camera to my home computer screen that allows me to use it for my online classes and meetings.

I use this on top of my laptop case, and I use the usb c extension that it comes with so that I can use this product on my iPad Pro also!! This was an amazing purchase, I would recommend this to anybody with either a MacBook or an iPad Pro.
