Good but very expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product works just fine - but (at nearly $100 that I paid) it's extremely expensive in comparison to similar products that sell for $25-$30. If there's a reason for this - such as more Thunderbolt ports operating at higher speeds - it's not easy to uncover. I've looked at the reviews and specs and nobody, including the manufacturer, has offered a "more expensive than the alternatives because..." type summary.

Hyper drive
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product to connect to Newer editions of Apple computers. It has 2 USB ports and suitable for the reasons while device was purchased in the first place. This device is very easy to use, not complicated and easily fits into the receptacle on the device it attaches to and very firm. The device is equally very easy to disconnect after us . It also comes with a cable with USB which can also be used for connection. The device was introduced to me by a friend. It was the perfect device needed to connect and transmit the needed information from my Apple computer to my Apple phone

Hub with Power Delivery for 16" Macbook Pro!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly what I've been looking for. The issue with a lot of hubs, including the white Apple hub I've been using, is that they don't seem to deliver the 96 watts my 2019 macbook wants, so I have to keep the power cable in 1 port and the hub in another to avoid draining the battery. The support system. It's nice that the ports are deep enough to accommodate a case, and having the little lip is definitely an improvement over hubs i've had that put all of the force on the ports directly if they get bumped. But the lip also keeps the screen from closing fully. The macbook cools better when open so I use it open even when connected to an external display anyway. And you shouldn't be leaving a hub connected to your computer when its in a backback or something anyway, but DEFINITELY don't do that with this hub. The speed is fine, but it's not clear exactly where the 40gb/s comes in. If that's just 1 of the ports, it's not marked. If you have to use both ports... how? This is fine on my 16" macbook where I can just connect thunderbolt 3 drives to the other side but for macbooks that only have 2 ports, like the 13" it's not clear to me if I need to use the extension with this device to free up one of the thunderbolt 3 ports. So maybe not the best choice for smaller laptops

Maybe the more expensive option, but worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple again finds a way to cut features and make you spend more money. Their docking station does not even compare to after-market products and costs more. This one cost more than the others but matches up with the space gray color, is magnetized, has plenty of ports, and looks like it was made to go with the Macbook.

Good Gadget
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does exactly what it was invented to do. This one supports 4K HDMI transmission so my Samsung 32" TV serves admirably as an addition display. It likes my new Mac Book Pro.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good overall product. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a gap and you can see the silver attachment piece. I would have perfected a flush attachment, but it does it’s job.

Good for what it is
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does well at expanding ports on my MaBook Air. Only con is that it took a little bit of patience to connect it properly, but once I figured it out, it works without any issues.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything works fine, but after plugging it in it makes my computer very hot and the hub itself gets very hot within 15 minutes of use.
