Customers are saying

Customers regard the DUO 7-Port USB-C Hub favorably for its USB-C and other ports, compatibility with various devices, and ease of use due to its magnetic design. Many appreciate its quality and the additional ports it provides, along with its thoughtful design. However, some customers experienced issues with the fit and connection stability, and some reported that the device gets warm during use. The overall user experience appears to be positive, despite some reported drawbacks.

This accessory is a must have. It plugs into the side of the laptop and enables the user to have multiple connector ports for accessories.

Fits perfectly on MacBook Pro 13” with a protective case. Gives you some great options and no dongle.

Get's really really really hot. If you care, get one that has a usb c cord and power - otherwise your mac will stay hot in that area. especially if you use one of the usb-c ports for power.

This is a must have for the new MacBook Pro. The only down side is that a laptop cover will interfere with a snug connection. I use the extension dongle because of this.

This is the must have best companion for your new Macbook pro, many people is still using regular usb devices, new laptops have usb-c only ports, this adapter allows you to connect also sd cards, micro sd cards, or HDMI out port, plus 2 regular usb ports.

Works like a charm, but the design could be better. The laptop cannot close with this attached. Which is a pain, because most days I would just close my laptop at the end of the day. Now, I end up unplugging the hub and closing it. Over time, I hope that's not something that will lead to more wear and tear than deserved.

Looks very Apple for an off brand product. Bummed that the adapter piece only seems to work on the left side of Macbook. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.

Works great with my new MacBook Air M1. Transfer speed are excellent. The Only down side is you have to remove it before you close the MacBook lid.

    Average device for certain use-cases

Pros: - Compact, good for travel - Variety of inputs, seemingly everything you'd need - Not super expensive Cons: - It attaches directly to the laptop, which is more annoying than you'd think - Not very performant. My HDMI-based monitor would sometimes not register a connection when my laptop woke For me, I have a regular, stationary desk set-up, so I returned this unit for the bulkier, pricier CalDigit TS3+. BestBuy doesn't sell it, unfortunately, but I highly recommend it (yes, it's $300 but works perfectly). The reviews on the TS3 speak for themselves. If you're constantly on the move, maybe this is a good option for you, but if you just sit at a desk, I recommend opting for a product that sits in the back of your desk that you can connect to with a single cable. These units that slap directly onto the side of your laptop just get in the way and clutter your space.

It worked for my back-up drive but would not work for my CD attachment. I had to buy a $19 adapter. This may have been overkill for me.

This was exactly what I needed to be able to display and connect to dual monitors. Some of the other docking stations sometimes work or do not work at all. This is compatible and very compact along with it slides onto the lap top it makes it more unobtrusive on your work station.

This unit works great with the 2020 M1 Macbook Air with Retina Display. The color matches Space Gray exactly and provides all the additional ports that many users need for A/V and data transfer. I used BBY Store pickup and didn't have to search for the product. Also, take advantage of price match. BBY often beats itself in pricing within the return period. I was able to confirm that this product was $20 cheaper than I purchased during the holiday season leading up to Black Friday.
