I bought this hub with hopes that it could eliminate some clutter, be easy to put on and take off, and give me some usb 3.0, hdmi for a second monitor, work with the laptop power block and my usb2connector to a backup disk. It was all of that and relatively inexpensive too! Have been happy so far after 2 months of daily use.

Works very well for hooking up multiple devices, definitely a bummer Apple doesn’t already have that stuff included but this little thing rocks

This is a great little docking station for my MacAir. It is lightweight and transportable. Use it on the run as well as in my home office with portable keyboard; secondary monitor, etc.

This is essential. The 2020 MacBook o Lu comes with two USB-C outlets. This expands it to include USB, HDMI for external video, SD card reader, all while able to charge your Mac.

I was hesitant to get the new Mac because it lacked having the necessary ports that I need for it to benefit me in my workday. When I discovered this and purchased it and plugged it in, this is a lifesaver. Makes everything so much easier and puts so perfectly it looks like a part that came with the Mac.

I bought this for use with both a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air. I have an LG 32” 4K monitor and was looking for an adapter that would support 4K @ 60Hz as the Apple adapter only supports 4K @ 30Hz. It works on the MBP, but not for the MBA. It will only do 30hz for the MBA. I am not sure if it is the adapter, the monitor or the MBA, but nothing I have tried changing on configurations on the laptop or monitor has worked. Another minor issue is the spacer has a lip which prevents the lid from closing so you have to remove that if you want to close without taking off the adapter. Otherwise, it is nice to have the additional ports.

Will work great for anyone not needing the connections all the time (if you need the HDMI or the USB for a hard drive) as the screen lid will not close fully with this attached.

I have two of these devices to use with our MacBook Pro 13" laptop for projection to larger screens for work and presentations. Device works extremely well.

Needed a new hub due to the new ports on my MacBook Pro only allowing firewire plugs. This hub is great because I can plug anything in. It's also stable with the added magnetic piece. Only issue is that the laptop doesn't close all the way so make sure you eject everything and detach before closing.

This is a nice product for the MacBook pro. It works very will and a nice addition to the MacBook pro. It allows me to hook up standard USB and HDMI video ports. Also, it can connect to the left or right hand side of the computer. I'm very happy with my purchase

A very convenient addition to your new MacBook. This small adaptor allows for additional USB access ports for both the usb-c and the usb-2 that were are used to. There is also an audio port, sdcard slot, and a HDMI port. This little adaptor has been a lifesaver.

Purchased this newer model for the 4K at 60hz however was still only able to achieve 4K at 30hz. Otherwise the quality and design is excellent.

It's useful item with my computer to use with. It's easy to use

I needed this. And thankfully I had it, because I use it for many things I need. It has come in handy. This has many slots. It has cable slots and Memory Card slots. So, I am thankful for this even though it’s a bit expensive. It comes with a faux leather cover.

Pros: Very small. Does the job! Cons: Blocks power cord when attached.

Perfect I use it for the hdmi port and the SD port. It’s perfect for file transfers.

Works as stated, no problems but pricy. When plugged in to computer, there is also approximately 1/8 inch gap showing/does not fit tight.

I wanna needing something to connect multiple devices to my MacBook. This item has plenty of ports and functioned like I hope it does.
