Had every port you could possibly need and quite frankly you can use youre back without it. I would buy it again! Worth every penny

Pros: • Made from decent materials (aluminum) mostly. Overall build is good. • Space grey colour match is pretty good ('21 M1 Air) • Decent number of ports given the size Cons: • Pricey when not on sale. • This gets very warm/hot, even under light usage (internet browsing). • The USB-A ports are very tight, making removing devices/cables near impossible without knocking the device out. • The black plastic spacer makes using clamshell mode impossible on the modern MacBooks this is designed for. • USB-A ports are in the way off the SD slots. I think if they fixed the heat issue and the USB-A stickiness, it'd be a good product. They should also swap the position of the USB-A ports and the SD slots.

I had an earlier version of this that would get insanely hot and would burn me. This actually handles several attachments pretty well including an HDMI cable, ethernet connection, and various USB C/3 connections. Only 4 stars because it's kind of loose fitting sometimes.

Best USB-C hub on the market! Can do everything you need. Is compact, light and easy to use. I did have issues with leaving it after shutdown on MacBook. once removed and reconnected worked great.

Almost picked up a slightly more expensive version. But this really compact design was perfect and did not dangle about. I like how sleek it is and it is fully functional. I have had no issues thus far.

Needed this Hub for a new MacBook Pro and it does the job. It attaches to the computer firmly. If you use the magnetic connection though you can't close the lid fully. Other wise a great product.

Bought a new MBP and needed to get something since it doesn’t have USB ports. This allows it to stay flesh to my computer and looks like it belonged the whole time! Works great and gets the job done.

I have one of the newer MacBooks and this is an affair fable way to get all your ports for newer max users

The hyperdrive is very much improved because of the black piece on the side that prevents your hard drive from pulling out.

While you don't always need extra ports, this USB-C Docking Station allows for multiple drives and adapters to be connected at the same time without interrupting one project to switch to another.

I think it works as designed but when I had a question the tech support was lacking. To wit: there are two USB-c connectors designed to plug into the side of MacBooks. 1st: the pressure needed to plug in was alarmingly excessive. I was very concerned about port damage. Similar for the SD and USB-A ports. 2nd: when using the adapter cable into one of the USB-C ports only the lower port enabled the hub, the upper port did nothing. It appears to only function as physical support w/o data support. 3rd: When explaining this to support, multiple times, they were incapable of comprehending and answering my question. With that level of support I decided to return it. It appears to work as 'designed' with my limited testing, but with the difficult-to-connect and failing tech support issues I am going elsewhere.

This product makes it convenient for all the attachments you may need to plug into your MacBook.

I love the amount of ports i get especially having the new MacBook with just usb-c so it really just takes care of what i need and I’m happy i got it

Great quality and magnetic for ease of use as well. Works great on my Mack book pro to adapt other cords or attachments.

All of the ports on the hub tightly grip whatever peripheral plug I am using. This is a problem because I have to brace the hub and my computer every time I need to remove a plug from one of the ports. I have to pull so hard that I fear I will damage my computer if I am not careful. An alternative is to remove the entire hub every time you want to remove a plug from one of the ports but this can become very annoying.
