Slick looking device!

Looks slick! Small enough not to leave bulge in laptop case and comes with a leather like sleeve to store.

MacBook extra ports

It allows the connection of other USB devices and mostly the connection of a HDMI monster. It does get pretty hot running the external monitor so keep air moving over it.

Good product

However the HDMI port and the monitor do not like each other and I get a lot of static. Plus the computer does not close all the way due to it being just a little bulky.

Not to mention that it gets super hot over basic stuff like charging a iphone or connecting it to a HDMI idk that kinda heat being connected my already expensive macbook pro is very unsettling. especially at that price point.

Expands your horizons

Easily installed and all ports work as advertised. Solved several issues instantly. I now have a wireless keyboard and mouse, wired printer as well as a wireless, photo transfer card reader, and still have more ports. Answered all of my access needs.

Not the biggest fan of this adapter

I did not like that, especially using it to connect external drives. I ended up buying a single usbc adapter instead.
