I haven’t had any issues with any of the ports and find it a handy adapter to own. The only downside is the black piece of plastic with the lip that goes over the connectors. I’ve had to remove the piece in the past to ensure it actually connects to my 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch. With my 2nd order of this adapter, I haven’t had to remove the piece, but the black plastic piece still keeps the adapter from going in all the way.

Works ok, but still only 2 c ports

The limited ports on the Mac are my problem. I wanted additional c ports, this just adds other ports, but you're still stuck with 2 c ports.

Good for attaching older speciality cables

I use it for connecting camera cables with te the former ends to my new MacBook. It works well but is a bit tricky to connect and needs to be watched once connected.

The magnet sometimes get in the way when we try to close the lid. Tried to close the lid multipletimes when the hub is still connected.It might damage the screen. But saved by the mac book built quality..Lol.. .
