Great clean hub for MacBooks

It’s a bit pricier than some other hubs with the wire for connection but I really like that this attaches to the computer. Makes it look cleaner in my opinion. It comes with a soft leather carrying case which is great for taking with you. Works for all my needs and I don’t regret it at all.

Leave an ugly gap with MacBook Air

The plastic thingy seems to design only for MacBook Pro and can't fit with a MacBook Air, leaving an unsightly gap between the hub and the computer. Shouldn't advertize it works with MacBook Air.

Buy a different HyperDrive hub.

The 'magnetic' add-on, as has been mentioned in other reviews, is a piece of plastic. The problem with this is the plastic doesn't fit a 16" MacBook Pro. You cannot seat the dock with the plastic buffer in place. Removing the buffer does work. but there is a gap between the hub and the laptop. This tends to make the hub a bit touchy. Other than that, it works just fine. I purchased this because I was so happy with a different version of the HyperDrive, and the SSD slots seemed like a good addition.
