    Brought this because I needed to add USB ports and find it works great. Even though it sticks out it is very slim and can easily be removed when not in use. You can also put in either side of the laptop IF you have 2 USB-C ports on both side. The adapter also has a USB-C port so you can use that for the charger as well.

    Cannot power external SuperDrive via the USB port. I had to purchase the apple brand to get that. This works good but with that limitation.

    I bought this, for my new 2019 MacBook Pro 16... Upon connecting it, the transfer speed was VERY VERY SLOW. Not sure if I just got a dud, but this thing didn't work nearly as much as I was expecting
