Works great to provide more ports for the MacBook.

Exactly what I needed. Would give 5 stars if the black strip stayed on the device. It is magnetic and didn’t stay on, lost somewhere now.

Works excellent on Mac book air. If you have a case this will not work. I had to cut a small section on the side off of my case to make this work - which it does and still sticks to the computer nicely. Some people won’t want to modify their case and for those people this product isn’t for you.

Unfortunately a dock like this is a must have since the MacBook Pro only has two USB-C ports. My only wish is that this had a network cable port but it isn't the end of the world.

Good but wayyyyy over priced. Looks like the nice metal from apple but you can get the same for half the price.

not able to charge macbook pro while this was attached other wise just as expected,so i returned it for one with dongle

This is a needful "tool" in the new world of most PCs and all Mac's going to the USB-C connector exclusively for connecting USB-2/3 and HDMI inputs. This device is compact and does not involve a dongle connector---connects directly into the PC or Mac. It is of course portable.

This thing sucks. The magnetic strip or whatever gets in the way of being flush to the MacBook so it has a hard time connecting anything. I need to remove the stupid strip to use it properly. When it's connected properly it does the only thing I need it to - add usb ports to the MacBook. But plugging things in and unplugging usually removes this chunky adapter or whatever from my MacBook at the same time.

Nice product. But the lid does not close with this connected in. Otherwise a good one.

Using this adapter is very convenient. It allows me to charge my phone, plug in a zip drive And plug in an HDMI all at the same time.

keeps disconnecting. Almost throwing it out because. If I could return it I would but it's a few days outside of the return period with Best Buy.

Generally ok device for a docking station except it does not have an Ethernet connection.

Does not fit well in MacBook 13, does not insert all the way in. Furthermore, because of that the weight of the cables makes it droop and come out.

It does what it is supposed to do, but it is overpriced, you can get the same thing for half the money.

This thing heats up every time I use it. I have to be extremely careful bc it will also heat my MacBook up as well.

I didn’t know there was a difference between a 2017 MacBook Air until I bought the hub. It doesn’t fit. I only have one spot on plug it in and the hub requires two spots. I returned it.

mostly like the. but inserts bend easily, it would be nice if it was sturdier and prongs held in place better
