You need this if you are a content creator or work with multiple devices simultaneously. No need for set up, literally plug ‘n play. It also comes with an iPad cord to connect it to your iPad. Transfers data quickly and provides extra ports.

Bought this for my iMac Pro to add USB ports in order to make it more useful. Plugs in nicely, color matches my iMac almost perfect, does not overheat or get hot. I’ve been using this device for a few weeks and so far I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Excellent, It's just what I needed to connect my Macbook Pro to my larger monitor. I really like that there are 2 USB drives and that I can also charge my computer through this. Definitely worth the money.

A must have for a newer MacBook Pro with only USB C connections. Just make sure you don't leave it at home when you need it at work, or get two.

This is a great idea and mostly works well. The only issue is that the laptop lid does not fully close with the piece inserted.

This product has not worked well for me, it seems the type C USB connectors are too loose, which continually causes connection interference. Will not purchase this brand again

Works well! I wish the edge piece was a little wider since on small desks the cords are heavier and the drive can pull out.

Sleek and useful little device! As many MacBooks only have two thunderbolt ports, this device was a lifesaver, and I love how it has a magnetic piece that blends seamlessly with the laptop, so that it doesn’t look super obtrusive or out of place plugged into the side

It worked pretty well when I had it, I returned it because I found something better but it definitely is budget friendly. compared to other companies selling the exact same thing this price is unbeatable.

This product is 100% worth the money! If you are going to buy an adapter for your Macbook, may as well purchase one that was so many options. I am running two monitors at once, have my external drive connected and a memory card for my camera all plugged in at once. It is awesome!

Had it for about a year and a half before it stopped working. One charging port stopped working after a few months. Then one USB port went out. Then the HDMI port went out. And now, the second USB port is out. I'd like to believe it is an anomaly but it seems like others have had this issue. For the price, I'll probably replace it with a cheaper, highly rated version on Amazon.

Ok…but a little frustrating at first to connect external a devices. Not bad for the price. Would probably look for a dock with a dongle next time

The device works exactly as described but you can definitely find cheaper devices for a lot less on Amazon.

This really isn’t what I had hoped for. If you have a cover on your laptop (MacBook Air 2020) you need to remove the magnetic holder that is supposed to be a stabilizer for this component because of its weight. So unfortunately you have to choose weight on your ports and the possibility of breaking them or using the magnetic piece as recommended with no protective case on your laptop! So what I’m saying is this was very poorly designed for a $70-$80 component! You choose now....

Essential with new MacPro because of limited ports on laptop. I would have prefer a few more ports because I have external keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Easy to install and use. Cheaper to purchase this attachment than to purchase with the macbook.

Excellent. It was exactly what I was looking for... but I found the same product for 20% less one day after in Amazon...

Was kind of forced to buy this because Apple only put 2 ridiculous ports in the new laptops. Would not have paid this much to buy this, smh Apple.
